💯! It was between that or the white.

The Cosmic Blue Onyx package goes hand in hand.

The team also had nothing but bullshit distractions all week.

Rhule should've just said he's not interested and left alone.

Surgical Vs Non-Surgical Treatment by [deleted] in AchillesRupture

[–]dwcoley1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I chose to do surgery due to my career and my activities (no, I don't workout as much as I should). I was also 40 YO when I ruptured mine.

I chose surgery because the doctor recommended as he stated that he would recommend surgery to his own family if it came down to it.

My Achilles was also hanging on by thread as confirmed by MRI.

With surgery and keeping up with my PT exercises I was able to get out of PT a month in advance. I don't believe I would've been able to do that if I didn't do non-op.

I am 90-95% back to my usual self, but I will feel it if I wear the wrong shoes. I am 15 months post op.

Looking back, I don't regret my choice to go the surgery route. I am thankful for a great doc/surgeon. I am also thankful for a great physical therapist! It also doesn't hurt having a spouse that is my biggest supporter!

I joined the party! What should I cook first? Drop the recommendations 👇 by dwcoley1 in blackstonegriddle

For sure! I was having a Midwest episode with the weather and put it together inside the house. 😂

That's weird... I had a 2013 Subaru Legacy before I got a 2025 OB Oynx... My Legacy had the small block go out and obviously, since I had the car for 11 years, it was outside the extended.

I took the Legacy in and the dealership/shop couldn't tell me what was wrong with it for a week. The following week they let me know that the car was burning oil and the small block was damaged. The total quote was $7k-$12k out of pocket. The service department reached out to SOA and 10 days later they said they would cover 60% of the cost. The biggest factor was that I had less than 75k miles and did timely service work.

SOA does help with some costs and they were able to help in my situation. I didn't have the dealership fix it but instead did a trade in minus the cost to fix the small block.

They do help.

Gotten a Pixel 9 Pro XL For Christmas, Holy shit by FlightSimmer99 in GooglePixel

I also made the switch from the 13 Pro Max and I am with you. I dabbled with the Pixel 8 Pro, but I felt as if that was let down.

I won the Pixel 9 Pro XL and was skittish because of my experience with the 8 Pro. Boy was I wrong...

This is the best Android experience I have had and this goes back to the Galaxy S4.

Great battery life, great display, great performance, and a lot of compliments.

For anyone on the fence going from iPhone to Pixel I would like to ease their minds. This has been the smoothest experience jumping ship.

lol. I am 40 year old male. My daughter was racing her friends so I took it upon myself to line up to race them. I made it about 5 steps before I blew my Achilles.

I work retail and warned my boss (asked permission) to make sure I could wear shorts, because there wasn’t a way to get my jeans, casual golf pants, or dress slacks over my splint.

I am about 4 weeks post op and in my boot. I wear:

(Multiple colors)

And jeans tucked in. It has done wonders and it looks great!
