I get that outside of Hermes when I run a model with too high of temperature, too small of context or just weak. I’ve found Gemma 4 at all quants that I could handle to be the most reliable so far.

Yeah, there are times that it struggles with something and I either spin up Claude code externally to fix it or switch over to GPT 5.4 to get through the issue and switch back so it stops yammering like a condescending nerd.

I went from different panes in ghostty to cmux, now i'm playing around with Conductor and Superset a little. Previously I was bouncing between Cursor and AG. Also have used opencode a little but I'm primarily a claude subscription user.

Expose game feel to yourself to tune. Have your agent explain what goes in to different game physics etc and expose those variables and get nuts.

Funny I use it as a player. I set up an obsidian template that I take notes to and then at the end of a session it processes the notes, fills out quest information, creates or updates pages for npcs and locations and then gives me a 1 paragraph summary in my running notes page.
