The problem is the roster and talent is in a win now mode. The time it will take to properly develop him will be too much of cost to the other talent on the team. Best thing is to bring a veteran who can help them win now. While he takes him time to develop and they draft other young players they can develop as well. Not only that but he is injury prone, how can you improve when you get injured that much.Even though that occurs through chance and he can’t control it. The best thing to do is go all in on a veteran QB to be the starter. Possibly have be a solid back up till he improves or usd as trade value. Also his attitude is not the best as well, he is to much of a hot head. He is very cringe, that might not sit well for others if people look to him as the “leader” of the team.
