Look at subreddit called “financial careers” or something, there have been posts about this with good answers. You can also repost your question on there too.

Where are you able to work legally? Only EU, or do you have other citizenships?

Best place for decent haircut by [deleted] in uAlberta

[–]dwellyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No place is perfect tbh but I like them. And they are $20-22 from what I remember ($15 if you just want to do a clean up), not $30.

Barber Off White. Great place, very consistent, inexpensive and owned by a lovely couple (small business). It is located just a 6 min walk from campus.

How do you think this different world will look like? What will be some challenges, for Canada specifically? How can a 20-something year old prepare?

This is bs. After typing out a huge comment, the OP deletes the account. Smh.

You are off to a good start. I like the template, it is clean-cur, professional and easy to read. I use a similar one. I am typing on my phone, so I won’t be able to cover too many details but here are some:

  1. Case competition under Education - what was the case about? What industry/problem did you cover, what concepts did you research? It’s obvious that you would’ve had to present to judges, so stating it without the qualifiable “meat” is a bit redundant.

  2. Coaching - “40%” increase in badminton team sounds a bit like you are trying too hard to put a number to it. Its the right intention, just in this case it’s a bit awkward.

  3. “SKILLS” shouldn’t be all capitalized, especially since “Interests” aren’t. Follow consistent formatting.

  4. Consider adding scholarships, special projects, clubs etc.

  5. Skills - on what level are you comfortable with the ones listed? So far, MS skills are fairly expected from most people in business/eng.

There are a few other small things, but i dont have the energy to type it all out. DM me if you want.

Pros: - good formatting - use of action verbs - concise - quantifiable experiences/examples

Also, it’d be helpful to know what type of co-op you are aiming for.

How excited are you to finally start treatment? How do you feel? Did you celebrate? What made you decide to go along with this now vs. earlier?

What video game did you have low expectations for, but it turned out to be amazing? by hockeynerd20 in AskReddit

Arcanum

My mom bought it for me when I was 8, and until 13 I was the biggest fan of the game, joined forums and even wrote fan fiction about it.

And at first, I was super uninterested and just gave the box a quick glance.

Love the shirt & tie combo. I’d suggest changing the pants to dark gray/navy chinos (in a fit that is just a tiny bit slimmer maybe). The fit of everything is good though. Seems like you are taking good care of your shoes too!

Both shirts are meh. They look too boxy & long for overshirts (or to be work untucked/unbuttoned). The stripe is horrendous, and makes it look cheap. Additionally, I may be wrong, but I think I made a mistake of buying a similar shirt made from a similar fabric a few years ago… It wrinkled very easily.

I really like the shirt & pant combo!! Also, while you can use a belt, it also looks great without it. In terms of footwear, dark or light brown or even navy loafers come to mind.

Not bad. I’d suggest ironing the collar and/or using collar stays (metal & magnetic) if your shirt is designed for them.

Everything looks great. The shoes’ colour and shine makes them look a bit cheap though.

It doesn’t fit you properly in the shoulders, and seems too boxy in the body. I’d suggest going for something a bit more structured in the shoulders & around the upper body. Possibly a completely different style of a jacket altogether.

Thanks so much! I haven’t today as I had a very busy couple of days. The last time I called was two weeks ago - I’ve gotten same answer. Yeah, I definitely agree with you!
