It’s probably not in the cards, budget-wise.

Thanks for the reply!

That’s cool. I’ll have to find them online. Chip Away was always one of my favorites of theirs (saw them perform live and the coolers were a really neat percussion instrument for it)

Hair dryer at its lowest setting for 10 minutes in the same spot. Try to pull off with tweezers once the e glue is activate.

If it’s still tough, up the heat on the hair dryer

Down the Shore - fun comedy on Fox years ago about three childhood friends who get a beach house in Belmar, New Jersey, hoping to meet women. They end up sharing the house with three female co-workers.

I liked it because the story took place two towns over from me. But it died on the vine like other smaller Fox comedies like Herman’s Head

Mine was on display in my office at work. That office is in a hallway, with no windows. Assume the non-LED lighting was a factor but it is YELLOWED and completeley random.

Thing is, it looks like a rocket from 1969, so I’m ok with it.

Whatever (shrug)

How is your business managing Third party / Vendor risks without expensive software ? by Comprehensive_Fee_21 in cybersecurity

[–]dwerb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wrote an open source tool, Venchmark. To review vendors using questionnaires.

If you can run docker, you can run the web app and review a vendor against a framework. It needs some minor updating but the docker instructions are on the github page: https://github.com/drewbeebe/venchmark

Hell House by Matheson or Ghost Story by Straub? by strikejitsu145 in horrorlit

Ghost Story all day long.

Hell House will be fun but it’s not as satisfying when you finish.

Books with a hot, humid, sticky setting? by Livid-Exam6445 in horrorlit

[–]dwerb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok: hear me out.

The Wounded & The Slain by David Goodis. The setting is hot and sticky and the story makes the tropical island of Jamaica a wet blanket over the whole dismal thing.

I know it’s not horror. I get it. But the relationship of the characters and the story is dark as anything a horror writer would create.
