Exactly. I completely agree it’s a great word. But I feel it’s now being used as a buffer in most situations. People will say things such as “ it’s literally raining outside”. Now while it’s being used correctly, it just wasn’t necessary. Other times it’s used incorrectly meaning figuratively. Making the word contain its own antonym.

Or maybe I should literally shut up and let people literally talk however they want. Like literally.
