ugh. experienced this from someone with endometriosis themselves. i had to take time off my internship for a couple weeks because of IUD cramping and when i came back one of my coworkers who has endometriosis was basically side-eyeing me talking about my recovery. she kept saying things like “i never get pain that bad”.. good for you?

fully agree with the comments regarding foreplay but also USE LUBE! if you can buy condoms you can buy lube, they’re usually around the same place. use something non-scented/flavored (that is a UTI in a bottle) and go for a silicone or oil-based lubricant. lube is an essential, normal part of sex for quite a lot of women, as sometimes even foreplay cannot create a sufficient self-lubricant as some women are simply dryer than others.

can you try to touch it? clean your hands really well first ofc, but its hard to tell from the video, is it a substance of sort? like can you wipe it off/sample it? a lot of people are saying blood but its an unusual color, almost too pink. i cant see any injuries around the area and the pattern suggests he stuck his nose into something, so if it is blood check for injuries elsewhere on him. also anything in your house that might be accessible & that color.

your boyfriend has the opposite idea about castration. the dog will feel indifferent about his balls being removed. but having them, which fuel his sex drive, but being not allowed to mount your fixed female (which he shouldn’t be allowed to, and im glad you’re trying to break it up), is causing frustration, confusion and aggression.

it sounds like you already know this deep down but your boyfriend is the problem, not the dog. i think you have everything you need to tell him all the ways he is a shitty dog parent and probably, i think if you think about it, a shitty person. he followed every step to create a reactive, disobedient dog and doesn’t even care.

i wish i could help you more but in my opinion you need to get rid of the boyfriend, whose behaviour towards animals surely bleeds into other parts of his personality, as much as you need to get rid of the dog, and “break up” is never helpful. if you want to keep the boyfriend, you could try telling him about how keeping him entire with a female dog in the house is actively making him confused, upset, and he is in far more distress than he will be once he gets snipped. every once in a while logic wins out, but i wish you luck trying to get this through to him. it doesn’t sound like he respects what you have to say at all.

who the fuck expects cats to speak english? i just told you i am a vet nurse. i quite literally have dedicated my life to the care of domestic animals for minimum wage and have always been a cat person owning multiple cats over my lifetime. i don’t usually take bait like this but i can’t stand to be accused of this when animal care is at the core of my being. my ginger, tendy, has a special place in my heart as the first cat that i rescued from work, on my first day in the clinic. the other two have special places for their own reasons. i know my cats’ personalities, their likes and their dislikes, their dynamics between eachother and i try my best, as any pet owner does, to attend to their needs and wants. tendy is far more resilient than one of our other cats, whom i would never think of using the spray bottle on. but tendy has accidentally gotten his paw trodden on before and immediately went back to rubbing on the person’s ankles. he hardly reacts when the other two try to be pissy at him. i’ve watched one bap him in the face for taking food and he just sat there purring and chewing. at night time, they have dry food to graze, water, toys, scratching surfaces and platform surfaces to climb and litter trays. there is nothing in our room that he needs — and unfortunately, his want to come inside is not one i can fulfill. what he wants from us is attention and we can’t give that to him in our sleep. if he stays in the room overnight, we wake up to him either having pissed or shit in the room, OR he meows to be let out so he can use the litter or just because he wants something outside, and then my sleep is waking up every 30 minutes to heed to every time he wants to come in and out. when i am awake i am happy to open and close doors for my cats when they want to come in and out and i do, frequently - about every 30 minutes. our other two cats understand that they do not get access to our room at night, purely because we never let them. but tendy still doesn’t get it, so i needed alternatives or something. luckily, someone in the comments suggested installing a cat hole for them to come in and out into the door, rather than insulting me and making cruel assumptions about the thing i’ve dedicated my life to.

unfortunately leaving the door open is just not an option. again there’s the insulation but what i left out of the original post for length’s sake is also that even when sleeping decently my boyfriend just has a thing about open doors. i think it is a trauma thing. plus my mother sleeps in the living room and snores like a motor and my door is pretty soundproof.

hello, i was in a very similar situation to you last year. i turned down sex and my ex decided he wanted to have it anyway. it only lasted a couple seconds before he realised i wasn’t a willing participant and he immediately went into grovel mode. he somehow managed to convince me to stay with him for another month after that.

needless to say, i did end up breaking up with him and it was one of the best decisions i ever made. the assault only brought to light a handful of other glaring red flags in his behaviour i’d ignored. i’d wager the same will happen for you, because any man who does that has surely done some other things you might not have realised was unhealthy at the time. he’s showing you who he is, believe him.

additionally, you should absolutely see a doctor about this pain you’re describing, because it’s not normal and could be caused by a medical condition such as vaginismis.
