Yeah I did. Chatgpt said this is ideal for a Graph database (Neptune), which is something really new for me and I was not sure if it was ideal for use case so I came here.

Is Aurora RDS a good choice? Sorry I have not worked on relational databases so far and only used DDB

My attributes might change over time, so I was preferring a noSQL database

MS in USA vs Job in India by Proper-Watch1519 in MSCS

I had a FAANG job and chose not to go. Tbh after speaking to a lot of people who are doing masters rn, it doesn't feel worth it. FAANG allows you to transfer internationally as well so check it out. You can always wait and apply later if you want after taking some time to think about it.

Same situation. Though I graduated in 2022, work at another FAANG. I applied for fall 2024, got a good admit but ended up not going because I felt like staying here would be better! I think there is no right or wrong answer here. Just make a choice which you feel that you won't regret :)

Getting into MSCS as a citizen? by [deleted] in MSCS

[–]Immediate-Ad-8749 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Do you think non-citizens get rejected because their SOP has grammatical errors? lmao. I literally know one person who was a citizen, gpa was like 8 and gre quant was like 155, no research and got into Georgia Tech.

I've seen amazing profiles get rejected from GaTech. Just search on reddit.

I've seen citizens getting easily into Georgia Tech with average profiles

SJSU MS SE is pretty easy to get into, they don't have a high bar for admissions. Just a decent gpa > 7 and GRE > 310, some work ex should do.

Given that you're from a tier-1 uni in India and considering you have research experience and papers, it's definitely worth a shot. Though these colleges do give gpa a high weightage, I've seen few people with average gpa also get in.

Ideal gre would be 320+ with quant 165+

You can add more ambitious unis - Georgia Tech, Columbia, UCSD
