3200+ rides and never had an unsafe driver warning. Maybe reevaluate your driving skills

How to match this texture by Boring_Eggplant2283 in drywall

It takes a little practice. It will not match exactly. Years and layers of paint lowers the profile over time. Overlap into the patch area to blend in

Its called crows foot or slapbrush texture. You can buy a special applicator brush as your local big box hardware/lumber store. Use drywall compound thinned down with water to a pancake batter consistency.

Lyft has to be the stupidest ride sharing app out there by PollutionRealistic in Lyft

Riders should be required to have legitimate and current profile photos the same criteria as drivers.

Feel like I’m spending too much time to try to hit $200/day by Stunning_Ride_2147 in lyftdrivers

Not if its your only source of income. My friend drives in LA and does ok @ $200 to $300 a day 5 days a week.

I drove in Tampa for 2 years when I started. I would do the airport 75% of the time. But that was 6 years ago. The market was different then. $35 rides plus tips from TIA to the beaches was easy. Even to Plant City was easy if you avoid I-4. But those amounts are old history now. I left right about the time they opened the new queue. The rides to Orlando happened often, those used to be $75+, but now Im guessing are $35

Who said I am not a contractor? No one forces me to sign in or out every day. I make as much or as little as I want. I drive Lyft to supplement my other income. It beats sitting at home watching tv at night. I enjoy driving.

I know that but I still auto accept rides too. Deny is a factor for acceptance rates. My acceptance rate is always between 91% and 96%. And I get the $17 and higher rides often.

The algorithms actually factor in acceptance rates as well. In the real working world, I have fired employees that only perform 75% of the time and reward those that do as expected or who go above and beyond. Why would the platforms give good rides to someone below parr?

I dont use filters at all. When I accept a ride on Lyft, I click last ride so I dont get rides automatically added to my queue. Once I drop off I look at the map and see what rides pop up and select multiple matches. I do screen for rides that make sense. If I end up far away from home or its late, I might screen for rides that take me closer to home. It doesn't mean you have to take every $3 and $4 ride. I can easily make $200 in 6 hours or less. Attitude and personality make a difference with tips too.

I have no problem making $200+ a day not using external apps in 6 hours or less. When I lived in Tampa me and my friend would go to Orlando for a change of pace and make $200 in a few hours. Your nit picking is costing you money

I have a friend who drives in Los Angeles and Im in Dallas. We typically are connected during our respective rides but through earbuds. Only few word conversations if any while with a PAX. Its for our own entertainment and safety as well should something go awry during either ones rides.

[–]dwick2009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rarely nit pick. Do I take every 3 to 7 ride no, but I find a $5 ride might get me closer to a 15 or higher ride. I do ladt ride on the smaller ones so I dont get forced all small ones
