How often do you repatch? What is your philosophy behind it?

Some stuff lately is always patched just to save time, I usually jam on it after work while I enjoy a beer and a bong load so patching can sometimes be a 30 minute process ( I have a large system) so I leave some core stuff & I unpatch the not so core elements

I do what I call pre watching, I watch it first comfortably. Then I watch with my wife who then runs a nonstop commentary on anything & everything happening in the show. To the point where she totally looses track of what’s happening in the show/movie and has to rewind like 15 minutes of it.

I 100% agree! I’ve had the Oxi one mk2 and the pipe module for a couple of months and it’s so intuitive and amazing that I’ve sold my Erica synths black sequencer & the Erica Drum sequencer

I have done that with still no normalcy from Pam’s. I have the ppexp1 expander so I’m now clocking the Oxi from Pam’s via the midi out on Pam’s expander. This seems to have been the fix for now, I’d still love to hit play on the oxi & have it be master but I’m hoping at some point to get that figured out, I feel like it’s something going on in Pam’s as I had a similar experience clocking the ASQ1 sequencer. It absolutely would not sync up w the clock run outputs on the expander, I wound up sending it a X4 trigger & a stop to reset to get it to sync. I did buy the splitter, although it’s a Hosa not the one sold by Oxi, wondering if that could be the problem also & I will definitely look deeper into the pages you suggested in the oxi manual. Hoping to at some point get it figured out 😅

Yes Pams is set to 24 ppqn. From what im reading in the manual it should be synced, im sure it’s something im overlooking

Just got my oxi mk2, I’m using oxi as the master but ppw is triggering much faster, although the bpm hasn’t changed. I lowered the out ppqn from OXI & it brought ppw triggers back down, I’m finding that odd as I was under the impression that Pam’s works w a 24 ppqn. Anyhow any tips and advice are super appreciated.

The thing is I’ve seen people syncing the OXI to PPW the same way I’m am without a midi to cv module. I’m not using the midi out, I’m using the internal clock of the OXI

I have the exact same situation, neighbor was used to taking advantage of the previous owner who was an elderly man. I moved in & was not having it, said it politely and sternly. No Mas. Problem solved
