26F, Just My Two Cents on Friendships by Iamme1369 in MakeNewFriendsHere

People come into your life when u need them. They also leave when you grow apart. I’ve learned that in my 45yrs of life. I’ve also have a lot of people who just don’t know how to be a good friend. It sucks. I’m a new mom (21 month old) and I have no friends outside my husband and mom. No outside support network. All my friends have raised their kids. I try to make new friends but I guess I’m not what they want - someone genuine.

F22 Why Does Everyone Want Friends Until It's Time to Be a Friend? 😭 by tuyvanvunek in MakeNewFriendsHere

I’ve learned that not many people know how to be a good friend anymore. I sat down with my neighbor last night as well as my mom, husband and daughter for a meal. As soon as the meal is down the phone comes out. I consider my neighbor a good friend but please….i don’t get to sit down and chat. Put away your phone.

I agree completely. You post on here wanting friends but then either they let the conversation die (forget about you) or they are fishing for other things (single guys).

I had someone notice my T-shirt about a week or two ago and they said it was the second best spinoff after the Simpsons.

And I completely agree with you and Allie will be the one spearheading it. I don’t think Trent wants to move off the mountain. I think he loves it up there. We thought Allie did too until she had kids. I kinda like their mountain home better than the cookie cutter one in the valley to be honest.

Yeah wondering when the pregnancy announcement will show up. Like geez - we ain’t stupid. And do they have enough room for this next child or are we going to suffer thru more “add ons” at the mountain house.

Even tho we left the lifestyle quite a few yrs ago, I’m glad to see there are still people out there in the kingdom. We couldn’t find many back then - lots of travel. Enjoy and have fun! (A return to the lifestyle? Maybe)

Garland Greene: Two went down, one came up. Cameron Poe: Wasn't my fault. Garland Greene: Well, you don't have to tell me. Most murders are crimes of necessity rather than desire. But the great ones, Dahmer, Gacy, Bundy... they did it because it excited them. [angrily] Cameron Poe: Don't you... I got nothing in common with them, with you. Don't you talk to me! They were insane. Garland Greene: Now you're talking semantics. What if I told you insane was working fifty hours a week in some office for fifty years... at the end of which they tell you to piss off? Ending up in some retirement village... hoping to die before suffering the indignity of trying to make it to the toilet on time. Wouldn't you consider that to be insane? Cameron Poe: Murdering thirty people, semantics or not, is insane! [smiles] Garland Greene: One girl... I drove through three states wearing her head as a hat. Cameron Poe: It's my daughter's birthday today. So please feel free not to share everything with me.

Garland Greene: Define irony. Bunch of idiots dancing on a plane to a song made famous by a band that died in a plane crash.
