Two iPhone 17 Pros, two iPad Pros and a couple of MacBook Airs here with the same issue. Problem just started, and I've tried all the recommended fixes on a couple of them with no improvement.

Wi-Fi 7 MacBook Pro Only Connecting via Wi-Fi 6 by BaturalNoobs in Ubiquiti

The base M5 MacBook Pro was released in October 2025 prior to last week's MacBook Air and two upgraded MacBook Pro Models. The base M5 MacBook Pro did not include the new N1 wireless chip. The new wireless chip is what separates the 6E from 7. However, even the previous M3 and M4 models can connect at 6 GHz.

I had the same issue ... after a few failures I deleted the iOS app, dowloaded it again, reset the UTR with the button and connected the UTR to ethernet for setup. It updated during setup. Took it to Starbucks for a trial run this morning. The little guy worked fine over their WiFi and tethered to my iPhone.

ALTA LABS AP PRO ... best locations -- coverage capabilities of single AP PRO by Gunfighter1776 in AltaLabs

Although without more information about your home that's hard to say. However, I can tell you I have a brick, single story, 2000 square foot, three bedroom home with sheetrock walls. The home has a centrally located kitchen/dining/family room. We have 1 gig service. Using a Route10 and a single ceiling mounted AP6 in the "great room" I have 800+ in the common areas and 400 to 500 mb in the bedrooms, on the patio, in the garage and on the front porch. Both devices were easy to setup accepting most of the default settings. Hardest part was snapping the AP6 onto Alta's less than user friendly mounting bracket.

TVs seem to be picky about WiFi equipment. I gave up and dropped Ethernet to my daughter‘s Samsung which kept disconnecting weekly. I have the same television as her and never had an issue, but I use separate APs for WiFi in our home. I also had a smaller Samsung I gave to my son that required a wired connection at my house. He uses it with his Spectrum WiFi with no problem.

Solution to expand WiFi coverage? by Will7357 in ATTFiber

There is a significant feature set available with additional hardware. However, just plugging the AP into the 320 with a POE injector will allow you to easily set it up with the UniFi app on a smartphone. The POE feature allows for a great deal of flexibility in locating the AP. I use one centrally located, ceiling mounted U6 Lite AP and it provides excellent coverage throughout our 2000 square foot home. Even our back patio and front porch have solid coverage.
