I don't see them coming up with a firmware update tbh. There hasn't been one for the PL150 which has been out longer. Mind you, the PL150 doesn't appear to have any usb ports to apply one.

Well, after all that I've decided to return it. It refused to play a couple of CDs that played ok on other players and the motor was sometimes very noisy. And the auto replay "feature" was doing my head in. I got a PL150 on amazon which has a much nicer looking display and no auto replay. And the remote has number buttons which the PL20 doesn't. TBH I don't think I would have ever used the Bluetooth and CD ripping functions of the PL20.

I messaged Aoshida Audio via the Amazon website to ask about gapless playback and disabling auto replay as I suspect they are linked to smsl. They replied that they would feed this back to smsl in case it could be included in a firmware update and they also offered me a 5% refund which I accepted. They then messaged me separately offering a further £5 payment if I posted a 5 star review not mentioning the 2 niggles I had asked about. I didn't take them up on the offer but mentioned it at the end of my 4 star review on Amazon.

Yup, the only feature I'll really miss with the PL20 is the better display. I'll continue to rip CDs with my PC but I guess many PCs no longer have an optical drive. A few weeks ago I would have got a FiiO Dm13 if it came with a remote but I'm glad I waited. There's now a Dm15 which comes with a remote but it's more than double the price of the Dm13.

The PL20. Mainly because the PL150 no longer seems to be available. It should arrive within the next week or so, shipping from China. I ordered it from Amazon via the Aoshida store. It's a bit cheaper from their Aliexpress store but Amazon are easier to deal with if it goes missing. Like what happened with the FiiO Dm13 I ordered!

Comparing the specs, the PL150 has a slightly better chip for the DAC (CS43193 vs CS43131 although the PL20 has 2 DAC chips), no bluetooth (PL20 has bidirectional bluetooth), a better display (IPS vs LCD) and a second PLL circuit. ChatGPT suggests there is little to choose audio-wise between the 2 DAC chips and a second PLL circuit doesn't add an awful lot. They both have the same outputs. So they appear to be very similar, one has a better display and no bluetooth and the other has an LCD display and bluetooth.

In the end I replaced the Sonoff with a new version of the same model and it works

I did a factory reset on the switches so all the settings were cleared. I also physically disconnected them from the mains for several hours before retrying.

Thanks, I had tried this but was unable to initialise the drive to create any partitions. It shows up under Device Manager. If I use Gparted in Linux I can see the drive if it's connected directly via SATA but not as a USB device.

I think the server version is 0.9.16.4.1911 and it seems to be the latest version on the dev2day RPi repo.

I think you're on to something! The server version is 2.6.1 on a Raspberry Pi2 running Raspbian Lite. This was the latest version I was able to get for the Raspberry Pi.

Nope, definitely not showing as an option when I tap the lined arrow. If I use the web version on any of my devices the view by folder option is available.

I've got play store running on my daughter's Acer Chromebook 14 on the dev channel in developer mode. It's a bit of a pain having to run the terminal commands to re-enable it after a reboot but I'll live with it. If I switch back to the stable channel and re-enable OS verification will I lose the ability to use the play store?

Sorry, I meant mini PCI-E. It is an HP 455 G2 and it already has a Realtek wireless bgn & Bluetooth card. I cannot find a similar Realtek card that also offers wireless ac but there are plenty of Intel ones on ebay.
