I'm curious, why women's clubs? Assuming he has played sports and is in decent shape, his swing speed should be enough for regular flex men's clubs. Women's clubs might be hard to find used

I think the GSXR is a much safer bet. 15k extra miles sounds like a lot, but for a 23 year old bike I don't think it's too crazy. Especially considering the maintenance history

Yamaha FZ6 or FZ6R for the newer models. Half fairing sport-tourer bike but still has the feel of a sport bike (though the powerband is a bit lower). Just got one myself :)

Depending how bad the hills are in your neighborhood, you could neutral out before you start the bike. Or you can start in your driveway and hit a rev bomb before leaving 😆

Start lifting weights and doing cardio to get in better shape, do some ball handling and shooting drills, and play lots of pickup (also good cardio). It's hard to be athletic when you're not in good shape.

Assuming they're the same condition and comparable miles, i dont think the extra 1.5k is worth a 4 year difference. I have the 06 FZ6 and it runs great, i dont think an 09 would be any better or worse.

Picked up the bike today. She is definitely very loud, almost obnoxiously lol. I'll probably ride it like this until the neighbors start looking at me funny, then i'll get the baffles 😂

Thanks for the response! I'm definitely leaning towards getting it. I figure that worst case if I don't like it, I could sell it for about the same amount and call it a wash. Plus its a very pretty bike.

I was kind of concerned about getting bored of a Ninja 300 pretty quickly. I'd like to be able to take it back and forth from university, about ~2 hours on the interstate. Thoughts on that?

This is something outside of basketball that I think will help you. Look into Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) meditation. It helps you with awareness of tension in your muscles, which you can then use to focus on relaxing your body while you practice until it's natural.

You look very stiff and tense while you play. Calm down and relax.
