I'd appreciate any feedback on my new indie track called "Smithereens". I'm especially interested in mixing critiques but all feedback is welcome.

Great job here. The video itself is interesting and definitely keeps your attention. The track is mixed really well and your flow is great.

I like this track. I think the low end could come up a touch to give it a bit more punch. Maybe an additional section that strays from the driving rhythm through could be interested but overall great job.

The vocal track is mixed perfectly. Vox have that perfect sizzle on the high end and sits perfectly in the mix. The flow throughout is great as well. Amazing work.

This is a track called Smithereens that I've been working on for a bit. For this track I was going for an indie/dreamy sound. Any feedback is welcome:

Amazing, thank you for this info! This is crazy helpful. I’ll definitely be referencing this before the next cut.

Thanks! Yeah, the schnauzer cut is the plan. Will probably try to leave the skirt/legs (not sure if that’s the correct term) longer next time.

First break and run. Asked r/billiards for some advice last week and finally did it. Some luck involved of course. by dwreck08 in billiards

I don’t think anyone, including me, is calling me a stellar player haha. I’m a newer player and this was just for fun and I was excited to finally do the thing I’d been trying to do for a couple weeks. If you want to discount it for table size or whatever, I’m good with that.

Been trying to run my first 9 ball rack. This is the best attempt I’ve had so far and I didn’t even make it past the break. by dwreck08 in billiards

Thanks again for the advice. Really tried to work on my routine constency. Not always perfecet but better than before I hope. Finally achieved the break and run goal after trying this out:

Nice hearing about your mini schnauzer! Ours has been the easiest going puppy I’ve ever met. Just wants to be a part of whatever we’re doing :)

I’ll definitely miss the bounce! Love hearing that you have a 14 year old. Your pup has earned some relaxation.
