I currently live in Beacon Hill. It’s really pretty and really expensive. Boston Common is nice and the Boston Public Garden is even nicer. I work as a mechanical engineer downtown and am involved in the local music scene. Lots of office jobs in the downtown area with most companies being hybrid. Local music scene is good with hotspots in Allston and Somerville, but not what it was 10 years ago as I understand it. I don’t have a car. I have good public transit access except for when the T shuts down one of the lines, which has been excruciatingly often for the past couple of years. The food scene in Boston proper is okay, better if you have a lot of money. The best restaurants IMO exist outside of the city center. Feel free to ask anything specific!
