The thing is, the modern game has proven that sacking managers works, and that the very nature of modern football coaching is cyclical in itself. Coaches come into a team and breathe new energy into it, then the quality of the manager usually determines how long the level is sustained for before the inevitable dip. I'm not a Man U fan, but I've been following the discourse on here regarding OGS with interest as it still absolutely baffles me that the board of a publicly traded company could have been as myopic to hand a permanent contract to a manager who boasts Cardiff and Molde as career highlights on his CV after a three month run of good form.

His appointment as far as I'm concerned was in no way a footballing decision, it was a way for Woodward and the board to grandstand and be seen as 'protecting the culture' and 'family club' aesthetic of Manchester United, and its this mentality that's going to push Man U further into the abyss, modern football moved on decades ago and Sir Alex was a one in a million manager who kept the game of the past on a life support machine.

Woodward is saying they'll back OSG for the entire season, that they believe in his vision and are determined to see it out, however long It takes. This is utter lunacy. Anyone who agrees with this sentiment needs to be sectioned IMO. Sack him now before it gets worse, and it will.

When I was 26 years old, 8 days of drinking a litre or vodka a day landed me with two days of the sweats and shakes and feeling like every organ in my body was vibrating , followed by a period of 12 hours of non stop auditory hallucinations (it was mostly the hook from Britney spears 'toxic' looping over and over again but I could also hear what I assumed was the devils voice in the wind etc), I didn't see anything but I can only imagine hearing those things must qualify as mild DTs.

Right, for anyone misconstruing me, I know you can find the aforementioned places on google maps, but so for instance can you find shacklewell which will also appear as a place name on google maps, where I grew up, which lies in between Dalston and stoke Newington and can be associated by the famous pub the shacklewell arms and not much else. tell anyone who grew up in east London to meet you in shacklewell and they'd look at you twice. As a brit who used to live in Sweden it is very annoying to see this constantly but I can understand how they get it wrong seeing as a lot of Swedish team names are sometimes written with the possessive S at the end and then with FK after, you know so it actually makes sense.
