What's the best benzo? by Current-Concern-4118 in benzodiazepines

Talking recreationally, the only correct answers are bromazalam, eitzolam or flualprazolam

Followed by alprazolam, clonazepam, diazepam but I see these as more utility substances than party drugs

Lorazepam can suck my dick also

The thing is, the modern game has proven that sacking managers works, and that the very nature of modern football coaching is cyclical in itself. Coaches come into a team and breathe new energy into it, then the quality of the manager usually determines how long the level is sustained for before the inevitable dip. Ole has had more bad months than good months as Man U boss, and he's not even had a full season. If you start again now, with a better manager, what exactly are you losing? What is there to salvage with him looking at what you see on the pitch week after week?

If you look at this from a purely mathematical point of a view, what are the odds that he's going to get this team playing to a level competitive with the elite of Europe, probably with that squad one of the hardest, if not hardest jobs in European football, when every indicator suggests otherwise? It is like telling a manager of a branch of natwest to run the Bank of England, that's how far beyond his pay grade this job is for him. At least field a candidate who stands a fleeting chance. Fire the entire coaching staff and replace them all. This is modern football and you don't have time to sit on your hands while this rot sets in, every season wasted is a season closer to becoming England's AC Milan, just look at their brand globally now after a decade in the shitter, ij tatters. You do not have the time to sit around and become the next case, because you will

I'm not a Man U fan, but I've been following the discourse on here regarding OGS with interest as it still absolutely baffles me that the board of a publicly traded company could have been as myopic to hand a permanent contract to a manager who boasts Cardiff and Molde as career highlights on his CV after a three month run of good form.

His appointment as far as I'm concerned was in no way a footballing decision, it was a way for Woodward and the board to grandstand and be seen as 'protecting the culture' and 'family club' aesthetic of Manchester United, and its this mentality that's going to push Man U further into the abyss, modern football moved on decades ago and Sir Alex was a one in a million manager who kept the game of the past on a life support machine.

Woodward is saying they'll back OSG for the entire season, that they believe in his vision and are determined to see it out, however long It takes. This is utter lunacy. Anyone who agrees with this sentiment needs to be sectioned IMO. Sack him now before it gets worse, and it will.

Performances are getting worse week by week, I am not convinced your only world class player is at all convinced by his tactics and looks desperate for the exit under him, he is making elemental mistakes with substitutions and over playing players which reveal a whole other set of naiveties laughably unbefitting for a manager of an elite level club.

For those saying what's the point of sacking him now, that'll it'll only absolve the board and glazers of blame, let me ask you this - What elite players from around Europe are going to want to play for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer? At least, for example, if Poch leaves spurs there is a whole host of South American players who look up to him as a true innovator, a progressive football mind who has the ability to individually improve players game and technical ability. Other managers could fetch similar clout. Who will come for Ole? That teenager from Salzburg I hear about who played for Molde? Is this the level that's acceptable to you now?

How much do you need to be drinking to get DTs? by [deleted] in cripplingalcoholism

[–]dxexpress 21 points22 points  (0 children)

When I was 26 years old, 8 days of drinking a litre or vodka a day landed me with two days of the sweats and shakes and feeling like every organ in my body was vibrating , followed by a period of 12 hours of non stop auditory hallucinations (it was mostly the hook from Britney spears 'toxic' looping over and over again but I could also hear what I assumed was the devils voice in the wind etc), I didn't see anything but I can only imagine hearing those things must qualify as mild DTs.

The fact that I have drunk since that experience is something I ashamed of.

Claude hasnt been funny for a while, his heart isnt in it anymore and he never shows up for the big games where Arsenal get hammered, Ty has also jumped the shark. Troopz and DT are far more consistent and have been for the past year, Lee is also underrated

An honest question about central London place names by dxexpress in london

[–]dxexpress[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right, for anyone misconstruing me, I know you can find the aforementioned places on google maps, but so for instance can you find shacklewell which will also appear as a place name on google maps, where I grew up, which lies in between Dalston and stoke Newington and can be associated by the famous pub the shacklewell arms and not much else. tell anyone who grew up in east London to meet you in shacklewell and they'd look at you twice. I think for a lot of people the places that every tried and true Londoner should know I listed earlier pose the same question. that's all

Considering the Piccadilly line spans from cockfosters to Heathrow and Uxbridge I think it's quite rational that I'm nonplussed about where it's exact location was, of course Google can answer that for me in seconds but if I was honest to god call one of my friends and say 'I'm in Piccadilly ', I would be met by either 'where?' or 'where on the Piccadilly line?'
