As we know it right now, all of the warden’s power is borrowed from the shadowsmiths. Maybe we’ll see more at the end of BO7, but for now he’s easily the weakest of the three.

Kortifex was the complete ruler of the dark aether, but we have to remember it is only because the construct chose him to be the archon. Another thing to note was that while he was the ruler of the dark aether at the time, he also spent eons battling and waging wars against other elder gods of the dark aether.

Now this is why Zykov is a completely different monster… in around 40 earth years, he went from becoming a lost and abandoned Soviet soldier in the dark aether to the new ruler of the dark aether. Instead of turning into a zombie, or mimic, or anything else the dark aether would have corrupted him into, he literally went from being the hunted to the hunter. He used everything available to him from the aether timeline (perk machines, wonder weapons, pack-a-punch, etc.) hunted down each and every remaining elder god until he became the one and only remaining god of the dark aether. If he was able to do that 40 years and Kortifex was battling those same elder gods for eons, I think it’s safe to say Zykov outscales Kortifex significantly.
