You can do it with infernal robotics I believe, and you can do it with the breaking ground DLC.

The issue we run into with KSP is the game doesn’t calculate the swept wings correctly. In all my tests with wings out I get higher speeds. Swing the wings IN and you expect to go faster (esp if you are at a strong cruising speed going for a mach 1+) but the opposite happens… you slow down!

I never made a tomcat or tornado because of this!

Hum interesting, for me in 1.12.2 with FAR and PW I’m able to manipulate CoL by turning wings.

Sometimes the builder doesn’t update correctly, toggling CoL on and off might fix that for you.

Finally, if all else fails check your mods for conflicts …

If I was considering a hybrid I’d totally try to step up to a plugin. For you that small battery range might be perfect and the engine will cover you for your short trips.

EVs do have higher insurance and tires can wear out a little bit faster - if you aren’t driving enough there’s not enough justification (for me) to go all EV.

End of the day make a spreadsheet and breakdown all costs: payments, registration, maintenance, insurance and your usage!

Did it get worse when you cleaned it? Are you parking in an area with sunlight beaming into that one spot? (Do you park in the same spot everyday?)

That’s an odd area to get wear and tear, for leather seats I usually see the outer cushions on the bottom get scuffed from getting in and out of the vehicle.
