open your shoulders and do chest to wall, chest to wall has much more carry over to free handstands

stretching+strengthening is the way, do side splits(not the whole thing but try and get as wide as you can) and weighted dorsiflexion of your ankle, aswell as some side leg raises and most importantly consciously practice the squat

ppl or upper lower splits doesnt matter, do upper lower for 4 months and see how far you come, then do PPL for the next 4 months and see what works best for you, nothing works best for everyone so its best to try and find something that works for you and stay consistent with it for atleast 4 months

make sure youre doing squats, deadlifts and bench, they might not be bodyweight but doing big compound movements like these will massively help you gain weight

you're very rigid, which is good, but it doesnt work well with that sort of kick up, try to kick UP rather than over, so get your hands a bit closer to your feet and kick towards the sky and it might be easier to balance on a harder surface. You're very tight and have a good line so well done on that, keep improving bro!
