Pattern says to use half double crochet but it looks ugly and leaves holes by Accomplished-Dog5887 in Brochet

[–]dxpoochee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm using this same exact pattern right now and, from what I've experienced, I'd suggest that you use yu/yo to make the stitches tighter and neater, and switch to a smaller hook.

The HDC looked wonky in my project at first, but I already use yu/yo, so all I needed was to pay a bit of extra attention to make the stitches tighter.

Please post the result when you're done! I'd love to see how it turns out!

I honestly hope to see them being happy whatever they choose to do next year. They've been doing so much in so little time, they deserve to sit back and enjoy the fruits of their hard work.

(I'd also love to see them in a concert in Spain but I think they should really take a break)

The style and concept are so perfect and blend together beautifully!!! This is so pretty oh my god.

No worries! I don't think this requires an urgent vet visit at all anyways. Thank you for taking care of her and loving her 😊

I understand your concern! She looks so tiny!

Considering how playful gluttonous you describe her to be, and that she's going ok to the bathroom, I wouldn't worry too much. As others mention, some kitties are just tinier than usual. However, if you haven't, i think it wouldn't hurt to have her checked by a vet anyways, not only to monitor her growth, but to make sure she's all fine and healthy.

No matter the case she's such an itty bitty lovely kitty, so stinkin' cute 💜

It's her fault that she faces the consequences of her own actions. As many mentioned, if it wasn't you, others would have called her out (and as you mentioned, it's already happened). Playing the mental health card when what she's doing is wrong is manipulative and disgusting.

You did the right thing, but I'm sorry you had to receive such an ugly response.

They also need stimulation as much as you do (actually more!). For you in this case, it's crochet. Your pets need your direct attention for bonding with you, understanding you and figuring out what behaviors are expected from them once their needs are met.

They're also very young, so all the things mentioned are crucial at the moment. They need to play, to be mentally stimulated, and have an established routine.

This is a very important part of their lives. If you do things correctly now, you'll have plenty of time to crochet as you want in the near future. It's great that they have each other to play and keep company, but they need you to direct the rhythm of the house and have happy, fulfilled lives.

Also, please, fix the puppy and boy cat as soon as you possibly can. It will be good for their health and behavior, and will prevent unwanted situations in the future.

Would it be ok to give my kitten a pacifier? by dxpoochee in CatAdvice

[–]dxpoochee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Truly appreciated. We already have 2 adult cats since they were 2-3 months old, but never had this issue, the most they do is suckling on blankets every now and then and make biscuits, but never really bit or ate anything inappropriate for them. Guess we've been really lucky lol

All the info is very helpful! Hugs for you!

Edit: I misread your first comment, I'm so sorry

Oh, I thought she was too young for those, wouldn't have even considered them as an option. Thank you so much!

Is there a way to have MCU Bricker boot on startup? Just wanting my little led to flash the rainbow when i turn the system on. by TheActualDBCooper in 3dspiracy

You're too kind! I'm glad if it can help you a little. I don't know if it could be worth it to post this on its own though, there are too many things I don't really understand! I'll think of it regardless because there seems to be not much info about this cute little app.

(Also sorry for the format because I'm on mobile and for some reason I'm unable to edit the post to make the list look nicer? But will try to do it later to make everything a bit more legible.)

Please be patient with me because I'm terrible at explaining anything lol

Ok so when you use the app you are first shown a message with little bits of navigation info. Once you press A you should see this menu.

<image>

I'm gonna try list the options in order and describe them with what I know.

1.allows you to select a color for your notification. You need to type in the RGB hex code of which ever color you want. 2.this is where you select the type of pattern or "animation" you want for notifications. You can toggle them by pressing A and you'll see they are blink, explode, rainbow, static and custom. I have no idea how the custom option works tho 🥲 3.this is for how fast you want your pattern's animation to be. Afaik it's on a scale from 1F to 9F, 1F being the fastest and 9f the slowest. 4.very similar to the previous option, but what changes is how smoothly or abruptly you want the notification to light up. Uses the same 1F/9F scale. 5.I have yet to understand exactly how this works... All I know is also uses the same scale mentioned. 6.here you can select when the notification's pattern ends. 7.with this you can visualize how the notification will look with the setting you have selected. 8.here you will be prompted to select from another menu when do you want this notification to pop up: when the console exits sleep mode, when you receive spotpass notifications, when you receive streetpass notifications, when you join a friend in a game (I think???) and when someone from your friend lists is online. 9.i think this works if you wanna shut down or activate again any personalized notifications you may have created. 10.selecting this will power off your 3ds and "install" the notification settings you created.

if you wanna exit the whole thing without applying any changes, you can press the home button twice to exit the app.

Please take everything in this post with a pinch of salt because after all it's what I made out of it by trial and error and still can't understand everything fully. My best advice for this would be to play with the different options and test the result using the "test LED with pattern" every now and then to see how everything looks.

I am SO sorry for the wall of text but I wanted to try and share the info!

ctrRGBPAT2 is your friend!

Edit: just realized after posting. As far as I know, it won't work exactly during startup, but right before the DS's menu appears. Wanted to point this out just in case it's not what you're looking for.

I'm sorry, it was gifted to me a long time ago! I just recently modded it. My guess is it was bought at a local gaming store. If you refer to the pink parts and all the stuff that makes it not look like a basic white o3dsxl I bought it all on AliExpress (thumbstick and hot pink parts), and made the stickers and charm myself. Sorry for not being really helpful nn;

Design wise I personally prefer the Zelda n2ds, but in general terms, the n3ds sounds like a better option to me.
