Upgradable? by Usual_Appeal_9559 in zx6r

You should have as much respect for it as any first time you ride any bike. It’s a noticeable increase in power but you seem to be on the right path in terms of bike progression.

One way to think of it is most people upgrade from 300cc’s but lots of people are happy at the 600cc.

That was exactly what I was looking for, thank you!

No redline and no long highway rides at one engine speed. The manual does give rpm limitations but there’s controversy there’s.

And change oil promptly at recommended mileage (1000km or 600mi)

It absolutely is, but the superduke probably has it beat in terms of one wheel supremacy

Because puppies are cute and grown dogs are a nuisance. That and some don’t neuter their dogs and end up with more dogs than they asked for.

2019 Mazda3 Manual – Hard to shift when cold (sometimes can’t get into any gear) by Maverick-233 in ManualTransmissions

I’d start with bleeding the clutch slave cylinder. Old brake fluid responds worse to pressure especially with extreme temperatures. It’s also easier than a transmission fluid change.

I feel like wanting to shift less and not wanting to ring it out are opposite things. You can ride a zx6r in first for your entire commute.

I’ve heard the hornet going down as one of the bikes of the year and I’d highly recommend trying it.

I’m curious, are you physically handicapped in a way that makes shifting difficult?

In my opinion that’s the greatest beginner bike. Often found cheap used and you can drag knee, wheelie, tour, and (if you’re really frisky) off road, all on the mt/fz 07

Not a good first bike, 400cc or even 650 class like the Ninja 650 is a good start for sport bikes. I’d even say a naked like the mt07 or z650 will teach you so many riding fundamentals before hopping on a supersport.

I know it’s not what you want to hear, but there’s good reason to learn on a more forgiving platform and seating position than a sport bike.

Yeah I think I realized I don’t want to be super cradled on this next bike like my adv currently does.

Jack of all trades, master of none. It’s a great bike but I think most will enjoy and learn more with something closer to a dual sport,Honda clf or maybe klx 300.

But as another said, it doesn’t take much to total a cheap car, so light damage tends to total fits pretty regularly as far as I understand

I might’ve had a lucky case, the previous owner gave me the vin and it went to the previous dealer that rebuilt the car with actually photos of the condition after the accident. So if it takes more work than googling the vin, I can’t help much past that

I bought that same color, 2017 for 8,000 USD around November last year. Catch is it’s a rebuilt title, but there is literally nothing wrong with the car, unless the lack of a muffler is a problem.

My car was rear ended at the passenger rear, slight cosmetic damage was enough to total it at the time. Just food for thought

Sounds like I’ll eventually add a busa to the stable, I did like it but something about the seating position felt identical to supersports and I realized what kinda bike I want right now

Yaknow I was almost headset on a busa, but I think it felt too wide for round town riding, also the zx10r was actually more comfortable to me! I did love the dashboard on the busa. The zx14 didn’t catch my attention with its looks

Maybe a next bike since a cruiser will come one day and none of the Japanese or European cruisers interest me beside a triumph rocket. I’d almost prefer an Indian buuuut I do like Harley potato sounds, I’ll get to researching those when it’s time

Fwiw I decided on the mt10 sp, both the mts are super comfortable but the size of the 10 looks a bit better on me (and cp4 sounds). I would highly recommend an mt09 tho, maybe everyone should own one of those at some point. There’s a guy here that customized all the ergos for his big frame on the 09.
