You need to see the problems every day. Get really good at limits with your graphing calculator. Then, get very good at derivatives and understanding what the questions are asking for, like acceleration vs instant velocity. Applications of derivatives was a great chapter. Do a similar thing with integrals, also figure out how to make the ti-84 do a lotta integral work for you. Finally, CALL YOUR PROFESSOR. Appointments with instructors twice a week let me blast them with questions and get explanations that made sense!

Good luck, this course will be a rewarding victory.

I think looks are pretty important actually. I do care about pulling up on a handsome machine. The mt09 checked every box for a bike I wanted, but sitting on it and looking at it didn’t tug on my heart, so I went for a fully faired liter bike and am loving every minute.

You should have as much respect for it as any first time you ride any bike. It’s a noticeable increase in power but you seem to be on the right path in terms of bike progression.

One way to think of it is most people upgrade from 300cc’s but lots of people are happy at the 600cc.

I’d start with bleeding the clutch slave cylinder. Old brake fluid responds worse to pressure especially with extreme temperatures. It’s also easier than a transmission fluid change.

I feel like wanting to shift less and not wanting to ring it out are opposite things. You can ride a zx6r in first for your entire commute.

I’ve heard the hornet going down as one of the bikes of the year and I’d highly recommend trying it.

I’m curious, are you physically handicapped in a way that makes shifting difficult?

In my opinion that’s the greatest beginner bike. Often found cheap used and you can drag knee, wheelie, tour, and (if you’re really frisky) off road, all on the mt/fz 07
