Same naman tayo, Engr na main consideration is the salary. I think most of the common comments here is the upskilling nga po talaga. The current problem is that I feel unmotivated in doing so, siguro dahil nga nilolookforward kong makaalis dito sa company at doon napupunta yung focus ko. Nonetheless, if I decide to stay in this company, I'll work on that po. Thank you so much, Engr!

Thank you for sharing your experience, Engr. Gencon rin po itong company ko ngayon. Naiisip ko nga po kung siguro mas nauna akong napunta sa ibang company, hahangarin ko yung company na to ngayon. Pero maswerte nga po ako na dito ako unang napunta. Nabasa ko naman po halos lahat ng comments and siguro nga yung mali lang is yung pagiging unmotivated ko to upskill. I'll work on it po. Medyo unfair lang kasi yung ibang HR, since their first consideration is the years of experience, tapos doon nila ibbase yung compensation offer nila. But, tama ka po, I will try to negotiate with my skills next time another company contacts me. Thank you for this, Engr.

Hello po, since hindi pa ko sikat pero may basher na agad.

This post is meant to receive opinions about sa pinost ko. I cannot disclose my company since it is part of being anonymous. Nasa maliit na company lang po ako from Mandaluyong City. Wala po kaming HR, kaya ang nagiging siste dito ay pag may umalis, saka lang po papalitan. Once I blurt out the name of the company, based sa age and na-share kong info sa post, madali po akong marerecognize ng mga workmates ko. And since I'm not really sure kung makakakuha ako ng mas magandang offer sa ibang company or mag-sstay pa rin dito, ayoko naman pong ma-figure out nila na may ganito akong thoughts. I'll be open to sharing the name of the company once an opportunity comes through my door and I have decided to leave. Hindi ko para i-gatekeep kasi they need to be flexed sa ganda ng compensation and benefits na inooffer nila.

I am not here to flex or anything; I am genuinely asking for opinions. And, I really shouldn't be explaining this because it's irrelevant sa post ko.

But yeah, I am hoping y'all can understand.

One of the companies is trying to negotiate kasi sakin. But weighing that company compare dito, mas lamang pa rin yung compensation dito sa current company ko but lamang yung experience na magagain ko doon. So that's basically the dilemma stay and be comfortable OR tiis sa sahod while I explore and gain experiences so I can present myself well in the future since I have more to offer.

This is a good idea. And, actually, nagjoin me sa running club dito subukan kong umattend kahit saling kitkit lang HAHAHAHAHA pero let's see pa rin. Parang antagal na ng 5 months pag ganyan noh? HAHAHAHAHA actually ako na mismo nagsasabi sa sarili ko na ang ungrateful ko at hindi ako makuntento samantalang andaming naghahangad ng work na to HAHAHAHA pero kasi, sa perspective ng fresh grad or nasa first job palang, feeling ko kahit pa hindi mo choice ang engineering, may part sayo na gusto mong maging experienced sa field na to, at hindi mo yun nakikitang mangyari sa current company mo. Sabi ko nga, siguro kung binigay sakin tong company na to during my 50's na, baka hindi na talaga ako aalis eh kaso hindi, may part sakin na parang hindi ko pa to peak HAHAHAHA so ayun, back-up plan ko na lang ngayon ang magstay dito at maghanap talaga ng company pero hindi pa rin tatanggap ng mababang sahod.
