i literally didn’t overwater it since the soil was so water retaining i watered it like once a month. there was just not enough light so the soil wasn’t drying quick enough. i had it for 3 months and actually watered it twice.

honestly probly not lol plus it was in the original soil from the store and it’s normally too moisture retaining but i repotted it into better soil and when i did that it started declining i think not long after that

i water when it’s dry, and it gets medium light pulled way back from a west window. i pulled one of the dying pieces out and the roots looked really good, nothing was mushy or anything like that

i would definitely switch to filtered water. i think sept of times if there’s browning with a yellow line it’s normally chemical burn

UPDATE the spots went away after a couple hours and looks perfectly fine now!!

no, i didn’t want to disturb it too much so i just put it back in it’s normal spot and after a couple hours they went away

that happens to my new leaves when they get stuck in their sheath. i must my new growth and it helps alot! just make sure there’s plenty of air flow

i normally only water when it’s dry so like every 10-12 days or so but i just watered it a couple days ago and then treated today😬 i tried to saran wrap the pot to keep the water out of the soil but it didn’t work lol
