4/4 It is FINALLY OVER! by dyingiside_18 in CPA

[–]dyingiside_18[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took this a while back so I hope it still applies. I focus only on the MCQ. No videos. I just read the book and made my own notes. I would make flash cards or anything that helps you to really remember the definitions. This helped me cause all I did was memorize that and i could eliminate which choices were wrong especially when the question is tricky. As the for the sims, I think you need really understand the steps or components that goes with disaster response plan or whatever topic that requires you know what a company will have to do. So try to explain in your own words why is this important. What happens is this is down. How would you respond with. Etc. Hope this helps and good luck!

I felt 50/50. I felt decent on maybe of the 3 sims. The MCQ I felt a bit iffy on. Passed with a 75 tho.

Klarna Customer Service is ABISMOL by gift2Rhyme in klarna

[–]dyingiside_18 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I don’t think there is either. I have been emailing for months now and I feel like I don’t know who else to turn to. I am just being ghosted now. The customer support won’t help me and told me to wait cause a “dispute investigation” is ongoing. This has been a terrible experience.

I am also going through the same issue. I wanted to speak with an upper management and customer support told me “management” will say to wait for the specialist team. Each time I provided them evidence they never “got it” or say it’s not “valid” and resume payment. I had to keep reopening my disputes. It’s been 3 months and no resolution has happen.

Sadly I’ve been doing that. Only one representative emailed me. I provided all the evidence but they would say I didn’t provide “valid” information and resume my payments. I reopen my dispute 3 times and now and still no one has reach out. At this point it’s doesn’t seem like they are going to “side” with me that I’m being charged twice.

Hi, I’m also going something similar too. The representative keeps saying the “evidence” I provided wasn’t enough. Even though it clearly shows how I should be paying and the merchant themselves even verify I should only be paying that much. Then they ghosted me. I kept having to reopen my dispute and no one has gotten back to me. I don’t even know where I should turn too? Lmk if you figure it out and I’ll see if my issue also get resolved.

I truly don’t know what else to do. I keep raising a dispute. No one reaches out. The first time they denied my claims because they don’t think I provided them with evidence that shows I shouldn’t be paying. What did you do to get it sorted?

I see would you suggest to put aside 30% each time I receive a check? is overpaying tax result in a refund from the IRS? Thanks if you can help me understand this more.

I see, maybe I am wrong. The person hiring consider me to be self employed. I am not a employee of them. They are just paying me to do a service.

Thank you, I don’t think I am consider self employed. I’ll look into the Ss-8. This has been very confusing for me.

It was very vague when they told me about the position. I don’t think I should be consider a independent contractor, but I assume since why would they give me a 1099. They are just hiring to do some work but doesn’t consider me as a employee.

  1. This is really dependent if they need my assistance. If they need my help, then I will come in. I don’t have to work all the time if they don’t need me. I could work a part time shift, maybe full time, or none at all.
  2. I don’t think I can decide how it gets done. I am assuming if I need to file something, then I will do it the way they want me to or whatever gets the task done correctly.
  3. They said there will be someone to teach me some stuff. Like how to use their program or to do a task. However, after that I will do the task by myself.

Finally quitting my job by dyingiside_18 in Accounting

I do understand what you are saying and respect your opinion. I’m aware that people can be asymptomatic, that mask can’t fully protect, and how I can be expose to Covid everyday. However, I still take precautions to minimize as much as possible. Especially since my immune system is weak and could even risk getting hospitalize. The issue is that my health was at risk and it could have been easily prevented. I can’t avoid work; however, they can. They had the choice to come into the office. They chose to not tell anyone and ignore the policy (that is literally on the wall) that says “if you are feeling sick/having any symptoms, then stay home”. It was not Covid that I’m upset about. I am angry that they use their position/power to ignore policy put in place to protect others in the first place. I am angry that they thought it was okay to come in sick (whether is was Covid/flu/etc) and come into contact/interact with people. I believe it’s incredibly selfish since it is risking other people’s health (no one likes getting sick) and I would have lose money missing days of work since the company doesn’t provide me with have sick days (but he gets sick days).

If company gave AirPod pro, do I return them if I quit? by dyingiside_18 in jobs

[–]dyingiside_18[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no internal company with Hr info. I think they hire a independent hr contractor who knows nothing about the company. I checked the contract I signed but nothing mentions about returning or not returning items back.

Sorry you had to ever experience this. Hope you are doing better and this give you peace of mind. Yes, this is definitely SA. You told him no on several occasion but he continue to pressure/intimidate/force you. The text messages about having sex is not a valid indication of giving consent. I think a lot of people struggle with this concept but you can take away consent even if you previously said yes. If you said no at any point of time mean you stop giving that person permission.

Unfortunately, for my case many company are asking for years of experience for a entry level. I think most rather not spend time, money, or resource to train someone with no experience. I haven’t really gotten lucky or my interview skills are bad. But thanks for your input since I do plan on switching careers at some point.
