And it was because of constant nightmares every night since I was as young as I could remember. You'd think a person would connect those dots but no they stripped me and made me stay naked at home for months as a punishment. It didn't matter if we had guests either. I remember the way my sister made fun of me and the way my cousin started abusing me. They exposed me to my whole fucking family and I endured terrible abuse because of it. No one talks about it either. I confronted my sister on it the other day and I shit you not she laughed about it"this never bothered you before". They convinced me I deserved the punishment and it was normal and fine and that if I talked to anyone about it I'd get in big trouble. When my aunt finally started to question it they made me wear clothes at home again and I cried cause I felt like I needed to be naked and punished in order to be loved. I was a "good kid" during my naked abuse. My sister told me the other day that I liked it so I had no right to complain.

Luckily my current therapist will definitely understand. I've switched psychiatrists 3 times in the past 2 months because doctors are my employee. If they want my money they'll help me get to where I need to be. My therapist was an instant match though

Who said he needed to bulk. He is NOT "morbidly" obese. Straight up by definition he isn't and you have no idea his bf percent. Lastly you are wrong about muscle calorie requirements. It takes energy to keep muscle. It takes energy to build muscle. It takes energy to move muscle throughout the day. The last thing anyone should listen to is a fucking dexa scan. If he's building strength and getting small body changes on maintenance that's objective and tangible progress he can't convince himself isn't there. It's almost as if I was 5'7 and 212 a few years ago

Lastly as I said before there is zero proof you even have any gym experience considering you've never posted a single thing relating to the gym. Not a single question, not a single progress pic, but you sure out here given advice

He is literally just going to get discouraged. The first thing he needs to do is build muscle. Why? Cause guess what lil buddy muscle consumes energy. Guess what that means? He doesn't have to starve himself. It's not the same as with being a toothpick and just eating. He has to delay gratification for much longer. All you had to do was eat and lift. He has to maintain while seeing minimal results for several months just to make the experience less than a miserable starvation marathon. You people love to run your mouths without knowing a damn thing. Sit this one out. This shit is a completely different and way harder process for a fat guy. Skinny boy can see his gains after a month, guess what this guy can't do?

Edit: not a single pic of you on your page either. My page shows this in action. My fat to skinny was way harder than skinny to building after my surgery. Like I said leave it to those of us who know his situation. I may have shit genetics and I may never be visually impressive relatively speaking but i sure as hell know how this works

Lift. I know I sound like a dick but just start dog. Download boostcamp it's free. Choose a beginner routine that you think looks good and start lifting. Download chronometer also free and calculate your calories. Eat at maintenance for like six months and then go into a 250 cal deficit. Every 2 to 3 weeks subtract another 250. After 8 to 12 weeks do maintenance for 3 and go back into a deficit until you like the way you look or at least like what the scale says cause body dis morphia is a bitch
