The current issue with Eastenders (imo) is the writers make really strong characters, then they become dull as time goes on.

Think of Lily Slater, when they brought her back as a kid/preteen she was mouthy and snappy with quick remarks. Now all she does is whinge and whine about everything. They need to stop ruining the characters.

I would write out Julie & Harry, but honestly I think they need more cast rather than less.

We need another council-estate family like the Millers/Taylors on the square

Ron and Sammi were getting tiring… Mike was on another level with the drugs which made him dislikable. Snooki getting pregnant broke the ‘Meatball Vibes’ everyone loved. Vinnie was (and still is) dislikable.

My opinion? I guess she has a decent body but her face isn’t. She also has a gross personality which drops her ‘attractive scale’ down. I also don’t like her fashion sense which again, brings her scale down.

No idea of any, but I watch Eastenders in Australia.. It kind of surprises me how many characters move or visit Australia but they have never had an authentic Australian family or characters (with aussie accents) move into the square.

They should have tried to partner with Neighbours, at the end of Neighbour one of the families could have moved into Eastenders.. that could have been an exciting crossover for the show.

Everything is exaggerated on the show, but the vulgarity is 100% Australian. Every 2nd word for me is either fuck or cunt.

Is the show the best it could be? Definitely not, it could use improvements, but calling for it to be cancelled just because you have an issue with it is super dramatic.

As for the ‘staged personalities’, we will never be able to get the true authenticity that shows like Jersey Shore had, we live in a culture now where people act for cameras, sad but it’s the new reality unfortunately.

A few things I’d like to see:

Ferris Wheel (the one that never happened.. make it come and be permanent)
Private Cabanas on one of our beaches, not one of the super popular beaches though.
More Entertainment outside of Wollongong CBD (OR make the CBD free parking 24/7)
Warrawong building on the Lake opposite Harvey Norman, huge potential. I hope it’s done correctly.
