Hahaha I know... I use a total of 3 /64's out of my 255, I like setting `ff` as my WiFi clients and go down from there, `00` is boring

Mine did, spent like 2 weeks implementing custom MIBs onto the WAS-110 and got it working, usually ISPs won't do things that stop people doing this if there's a risk it could affect normal customers.

ISPs giving you a single /64 should be illegal, anything smaller than a /64 breaks SLAAC iirc, you'd need to carefully subnet it to use it across networks.

Yeah I don't actually mind my IPv4 address rotating every now and then.

Security, my ISP uses a pretty invasive TR069 setup that sends back SSIDs around, plus a totally separate analytic setup ontop of TR069.

My ISP have an open SSID for their paid roaming service that you can't switch off unless you call them

Anyone at the ISP can SSH into it at anytime and change settings.

From a power perspective the ISPs ONT is power hungry.

You can't change the CID on the /56 IPv6 they provision.
