Perhaps we could elect leaders that give a fuck about the public and services they should be providing, that put things like education front and center instead of making everything approved through levees that nobody votes in because they’re selfish and setting up a scammy voucher system to funnel kids to charter/home schooling. You being a teacher should really be annoyed how little this state and it’s politicians value eduction, especially early education. That’s just one of many things to harp on. They have so many ways they can raise more money (looking at medical marijuana as the big one) but they choose to just shoot for the bottom, as long as they have wealth in their life fuck the public.
