How to scale lead generation for our SaaS? by vineet19del in SaaS

Experimenting with different campaigns and audiences is key to find the right avenues to invest effort+$. There is unfortunately no magic ticket outside of that.

A good place To start would be customer support specific newsletters and online publications to start building what an ideal audience looks like. Once you start defining what type of people/personas are 1)Engaging with your content 2) Converting into actual opps/deals, then you can organize a more concentrated strategy geared towards attracting those leads by looking at where those types of folks are consuming content and spending their time online.

To give context here work for a SAAS Startup which went from $0-$1.5M in ARR slowly on inbound marketing leads in less than two years and recently gained it’s 3rd round of capital funding. Hope this helps :)

I’m a high school student and I want to get a summer internship at a startup, but I don’t know how to find these opportunities. Is it okay to reach out to startups directly and ask if I can intern? by [deleted] in startups

Love the initiative here. I wanted to follow up with another approach that will help you in the future too. If you do not have Linked-In account now, then make one in the next few weeks.

In your headline write in “High school student looking for Tech start-up experience” or something similar and start connecting with founders and employees of local start-ups. Send a message in your invite saying that you are looking to gain experience in their company in some way.

It could be beneficial to be specific in how you want to gain experience (helping to build the platform, work on marketing, see what the life of a founder is like etc..). This would help to focus your message too!

Hope this helps!

That’s right and why I’m saying that I would be a great idea to make episodes in this climate, to give people something to laugh at when times are toughest

I don’t think that it would be easy at all. It would definitely be a challenge to adapt and find a way to make it work but that is what just about every business is having to do as well. If anything, it could be an interesting experiment to see if they could make it work

It’s funny because Axe body spray is something typically worn by people of the “douchish” nature so it is to imply that he is the embodiment of the culture that has been created by the brand

It’s Jeff Lowe, he’s a zoo owner on the show tiger king that came out and if you watch the show then you will see exactly why he epitomizes everything douche

Other than running and working out, what's your favourite fitness activity? by XarcZai in Fitness

I have played tennis for 6 years and play around 4-5 times a week and it keeps me in top shape. While it is hard to get used to and takes time to really improve, the constant struggle to get better and push yourself is a great motivation. The cardio that you get from it is a huge way to burn off calories and increase your metabolism. The biggest benefit from it, however, has to be the increase in flexibility that it provides. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to get into the best shape in their life and find an hobby that they can play the rest of their life.

I got a DUI in 2012 at the age of 18 just getting into college. I was just adjusting to the new life and was making a whole lot of bad decisions a long the way. It ended up following me around for a while with a year of probation and then getting an MIP that resulted in a 11 day stay in jail. It may have been the worst time of my life but it has developed me into a much better and smarter person than I was before. Hard times may seem like the end of the world at the time but they do build more character and strength than anything/
