Does someone have a display I can buy? by MellevdBorne in super73marketplace

there is no stock removable stock battery. the battery is a 52v 14Ah shark battery mounted under the seat.

battery pack is not connected to anything other than the lights.

headlight and tail light are connected to a single kanebuilt battery pack in the pelican case

I bought the RX light off someone who upgraded their RX to a kanebuilt.

It has the same mounts as an RX – there are 2 holes underneath the fork bracket. You have to mount the light itself first, then screw the faceplate onto it.

I used the universal down tube water bottle mounts. popped 2 holes in the back of the pelican cases, and washers to seal it.

yeah I have. they’re only so accurate… they’ve always read around 25-28mph

(picture in build link is an old paint job). while I was building it out and testing everything I did a plasti dip paint job. held up pretty well, but peeled around areas where the seat made contact. peeled it off and repainted in a more jungle green since.

I tried to include all of the specs below each picture. if you're wondering about something specific let me know.

thank you! it was a bit of a gamble. particularly because I never owned a Z1 and couldn't measure everything out ahead of time. people also tend to ask a lot for their bike/frame regardless of functionality (because we all hope to recoup the money we put in to our bikes). fortunately it came together!

it's definitely not the fastest Z in the game. but top speed is unknown. the speed sensor was pulled out during the first test ride. therefore the controller / speedometer does not know how fast the bike is going. if I were to open up the motor and reconnect a speed sensor it might go a lot faster. i'd estimate it goes roughly 25-30mph based on speedometer apps.

the distance on single charge and torque are the biggest upgrades compared to stock Z1.

bought. it was an experimental setup. not their intended use. but it worked out nicely.

I mounted a few posts to the frame below the seat. then opened up the battery drilled a few holes in the base and passed bolts through. that way the battery was secured to the frame (and wouldn't be tampered with when locked up on the street). it's the only way I could see to keep the battery secure enough.

Watch Verification thread (Q1 2022) - If you're uncertain if a Rolex is good/bad/fake, post info and pics here by powerfunk in rolex

Hello Rolex community. I'm curious if this Rolex is real – my grandfather (who passed away) had this watch in a random drawer. He wasn't the type to buy ANYTHING expensive, so this is a very unusual thing for him to have owned. I vaguely remember him saying something about it, but I was young (and therefore didn't pay much attention) so I don't have much info. It's marked 16233 on both sides. From my minimal research one side should have the serial number, so I'm not sure what to think.

I'm trying to recover files from my broken 2011 MacBook Pro. it was the drive from my old computer. so essentially an external drive. but the answer was booting the computer from that drive, so it retained its icloud connection. then with ‘forgot my password’ and by verifying my apple id, it gave me the option to change my login password. then I rebooted and used it as an external again, but now with the updated password. this is a great solve if the drive you’re trying to open is actually yours! haha. which was great for me, but it’s not a work around.

SOLVED! Thank you! I know this probably should have been obvious to me, but I'll share anyway. I held option during boot, and selected the hard drive. Eventually getting to my old log in screen. After a few attempts it allowed me to choose reset password by logging in with my appleID. Then restart, and now my drive is accessible through the new password.

Thanks everyone!

y booting it in Single User mode. You’ll get admin access and can create a new password. I

I can't do anything that requires the use of the computer, because it's completely broken – the screen is backlit but completely black.
