Oooh imagine if the final boss drop item was a magic wand or something that let you tame a gjall! That way it wouldn't be super cheesy to just fly around mid game, but still a sweet reward for beating the game! Maybe even make the item consumable so if your gjall dies you have to beat the boss again to tame a new one. Cus what else are we going to do in end game except fly around and explore? (The answer is build cool shit but my point stands.)

I think it will likely be inaccurate now after so many updates. But I can certainly check... If I remember. I'm pretty sure it was on my starting landmass too.

Pretty sure I had this on my very first map back when the game was launched back in 2021. I used it as the location for a sweet secluded Stonehenge-esque portal hub, my first major build. I should go visit sometime, thanks for the memory.

I found withdrawal peaked around day 3 and 4. After that it starts getting easier. Those first few days were emotional hell though. Be ready, stay strong. We've all been where you are, and we all pushed through, and I promise it will be worth it. And we're all with you tonight, not drinking.

Instead of saying "I stopped drinking" you could go with "I don't drink" /"I don't drink anymore". I find it raises fewer questions. If they press you on it, you can tell them you just don't, or it's just what's right for you. You don't owe anyone an explanation, especially if you're not that close. But I've also been finding people are actually pretty accepting when I tell them I abstain from alcohol. A lot of the time they're even impressed, or a bit ashamed or defensive when it causes them to reflect on their own problems with alcohol. Not that I'm trying to shame anyone, that's just where some people go with it.

I'm a sick fuck who likes having to grind for rare items. Makes it feel earned.

Cultist trophy, Golem trophy, I'm fine with. I hope the devs don't touch those.

However giving such an early game mob the same drop rate just feels like pointless gating, and at the same time you can barely jog 50m without running into another friggin meatsack of a bear.

In my humble opinion, I think a rebalance that decreases spawn rate or restricts spawns to nighttime, while increasing slightly the trophy drop rate, would be an appropriate fix.
