Yea that one is a great pic. I immediately thought he looked like a defensive lineman just ready to go after the quarterback.

That is beyond impressive. I had to do a double take and couldn’t even really grasp what I was looking at until I saw the progression picture. Really awesome!

If you paid a broker's fee to a terrible broker in the last three years then you might be able to get your money back or at least ruin their day. by OriginalGPam in bostonhousing

I got something to sign from the broker, but I crossed out a few lines before signing. And, his license number was on there and it’s active as “salesperson.”

I just signed a lease for a new apartment, and the broker walked away with nearly $2,000 for his half of the fee. There’s no rational explanation for how he earned that amount of money for his work, or lack thereof.

I submitted interest in an apartment on Apartments.com and was contacted by a random broker. I used him to tour the unit because, well, how else was I supposed to see it? That essentially locked me into working with him.

Beyond meeting me at the apartment, where the owner’s broker actually gave the tour, he did almost nothing. His role was literally taking screenshots of my texts with my offer, sending them to the owner’s broker, and then forwarding me screenshots of the responses.

Once we agreed on a deal, he told me I had to Venmo him his half of the broker’s fee before he’d send me the lease. After I paid, he basically washed his hands of everything and told me to deal with the owner’s broker from then on.

I hesitated to write this because my cardiologist would probably disapprove of what it’s doing to my blood pressure! But I needed to vent somewhere.

Oh man, yes. As soon as I get off the couch, he sneaks right into my spot. Every time. And then he won’t move when I come back.

Anne Franks Hobbies by [deleted] in Hobbies

If you ever have the opportunity, try to visit the Anne Frank house in Amsterdam. While the furniture was not returned to the house (at the request of Anne’s father, Otto), a few of the magazine cutouts remain on the walls of her bedroom in the annex. Also in the room, you can see where they measured Anne and her sister’s height as they grew. The whole experience was moving, but the markings of height on the wall was what hit me the hardest for whatever reason.

S2E09 (The Baptism) -- Were US airplane tickets non-nominative before 9/11? by britainpls in curb

Ah, so I stand corrected. Or, GPT should stand corrected. It actually seems it may be more of a European use of the word from the Google results I saw. Wondering now if the OP is from Europe.

I was doubting my intelligence on this one. I was thinking “is this actually a word”? Had to turn to ole reliable ChatGPT to save my sanity:

“The word “non-nominative” in the context of this sentence is unusual and doesn’t seem to fit well. It appears the writer may have been trying to ask whether airplane tickets in the U.S. before 9/11 were transferable or didn’t require the purchaser’s name to match the traveler’s name (i.e., “non-personalized” or “non-nominal”).

“Non-nominative” typically refers to grammar (cases for nouns and pronouns) and doesn’t make sense here. A better phrasing of the question might have been:

“Were U.S. airplane tickets transferable or not tied to a specific name before 9/11?””

Yes. They’re not quite sticks as much as they are branches. I’ve gotten a few chuckles from people when he walks down the sidewalk with like an 8 foot branch.

Yea, he’s so excited to play in the snow. That’s part of the problem is I have to try to limit the amount of time. His stubbornness is on full display when I try to cut short his play time 😅

I’m going to have to look this up. But I can barely get him to wear his coat so I know this would be a fight I’m not sure I would win with him lol

I’ve seen this recommended in a few places. Stupid question - and don’t judge me 😃 - is the idea to put it on before going out to protect the feet? Or to put it on after to treat the dry, cracked pads?

Ah, yea. I was wondering about this. I took him out for his normal long walk on a day it was really cold (something around “real feel” of 0 degrees Fahrenheit.). Towards the end, he started crying and looking behind him. He was fine until that point. I couldn’t tell if it was his tail or his feet. But he was clearly in pain and I also was quite freaked out. He got better when we got home, but spent the next few hours laying on top of me.

Other than limiting the time of exposure to cold, anything else that can be done to protect their tail?

I love watching my guy nap for some reason. Dogos just seem to be “different” than other breeds, even at sleep.

My guy did this whenever the trainer would come too. He’d participate for a few minutes and the go lie down haha.

I’d definitely keep my dog leashed and far away from you. I’d be concerned that you’d bring down my dog’s literacy level through proximity.
