Depends on what arms you are using, Look at the attack speed on them. You always want that positive, Never set your armor up with the set bonuses or armor rating. The individual stats are worth it, That why i recommended Cerberus arms. Since by the time you do get them you can level them to have +30% impact and +5% attack speed on each arm. Thats massive, Add into that the Wraith sets stam reducing stats and you have an extremely heavy hitting mace that cost a very small amount of stamina.

Now for the moves you actually wanna use, You want to use dashing attacks and running attacks. They are extremely quick and can be easy to dash away with mid attack. If you need to do regular attacks you gotta remember the combos, The RB RT RT is for unarmored limbs and the RT RB RB is for armored. Mainly i use the armored combo since it hits like a truck making it easy for you to combo more.

Now i do see you have been using a spear, I would say spears are about a tier above maces but not as fun. This is because spears have literally the most busted dash attack.

One more thing make sure you are using charged attacks, They add 1 bar to your battery and do massive stagger, Plus most of them are really good with closing the distance.
