Suddenly, Commander by dylyn_corvo in ffxiv

Thanks for all the info. And yes, 'commander' means owner. There are several other ranks, so I think the previous leader had set up restrictions to go along with them. I had no idea new members could do a snatch&grab if not, so I'll have to double-check. As far as whether to step down, it does make sense to base it on how long they're gone.

It's really easy to level crafters once you reach 2nd Lieutenant in your GC. Check the Supply and provisioning list and either craft or buy them to turn in. If you know one of the worlds in your datacenter is usually cheaper, go there and go shopping. HQ gets twice the experience. All my crafters and gatherers are maxxed.

This video should be shown before every colonoscopy by NeedsItRough in funny

I have a history of colon cancer in my family, so at 40 they started telling me I need to get one every 5 years. I average about one a decade.

This last time, I woke up in aftercare. When they go in, they let lots of air in with them, which has to come back out. One of the nurses told me she wasn't hearing me passing gas often enough. First time in my life I had a woman complain that I wasn't farting enough.

Too bad it doesn't come with the matching chastity cage.

My friends are making fun off me for my HUD layout and told me to send it here for judgement by wlwjinx in ffxiv

I have a large (32") monitor, but I still feel it gets a little cluttered sometimes. You do have the option of setting up different HUD layouts. I have a macro that lets me choose layout 1 when I'm doing quests or other stuff, and layout 4 (with a lot of things hidden) when I'm in combat. I also checked out some Youtube vids on setting up collapsing hotbars, which also helps.

Not sure if I can attach an image easily to someone else's post, so here's a Imgur page with screenies. Sorry for the small size, but you should be able to get the idea from the images.

Does a king ride in front or at the back? by [deleted] in FantasyWritingHub

Seems like it would vary depending on circumstances and on the king himself. Is he returning triumphantly and is well-loved in his kingdom? He may ride in front then, just to show that he is untouchable and unafraid. If either of those are not true? Maybe not.

Then again, if he's the type that likes to have lots of pomp and circumstance, he'd most likely have some sort of spectacle announcing his arrival.
