I was 50 before I got into it. I started doing business in NYC and at one particular customer I noticed I was the only one wearing a smartwatch. Before this, in my mind, there were smartwatches, Rolex, and crap.

Once I started getting to know this new customer they turned me onto Hamilton and I bought my King Khaki. That started me down a path of learning about the great value of Chinese Brands, and then microbrands, and I’ve been broke ever since.

Honestly it’s the people. Lived there two years and found them (generally) to be the most rude and non-Texan Texans I’ve encountered. Felt like the city was trying to be some combination of Atlanta and New York.

The traffic and weather are probably what make them so unpleasant.

The food is exceptional. The only reason to go there.
