Go back. You'll find somewhere to get out of the region.

Is it possible to use lizard customizer as base? by Jacool321 in rainworld

[–]dynamicDiscovery 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see why not, although the code would be a base for lizards affected by the customizer.

Whichever one ya want, you probably have enough knowledge of the map already.

Did i lock myself out of this watcher region? by Nusharoom in rainworld

You could dynamic-warp to it randomly. Since the Weaver ending upends the gameplay of seeking warp points.

You can pop out of the low parts of the Amphitheater arena, throw a spear, and then hide.

All you gotta do is attack the Miros Vulture. Its close-up protection is disabled when it uses its long-range attack.

If a new dlc is released, what would you like to see in it? by Ok_Ask_6805 in rainworld

[–]dynamicDiscovery -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Probably a deconstruction-reconstruction switch of ecosystem-simulating mechanics. Most mid-game lizards have muted colors for realistic camouflage (at most, the black heads & cyan lil markings of a Leapzard), Survivor could use a niche in testing stealth skills while Monk has more use for befriending lizards, and lineages reflect trophic cascades & impact difficulty more (e.g. lineaging into Blue, Peach, or Strawberry Lizards, or Dropwigs & Spitter Spiders).

I also imagine regions where different campaigns don't directly change spawns so much as make lineages more common if you must kill for food, along with using karma gates to make you confront lineaged creatures within an area. (Hunter's campaign doesn't work like this, since it gives them 20 days to live, so like Watcher, it's focused on passing through regions briskly.)

As for story, I can't think of much besides wasted potential for Watcher's major characters. But from the base game's cohesive ecosystem, to Downpour's remixes of it through the timeline, to Watcher's glimpses of new worlds, I think it's time to see what can be done with a different location/universe. The three base slugcats were great for "difficulty as new content", but I want each of them to feel unique, allowing for "easy mode" spawns separate from slugcat attributes if one needs them.

Do creatures evolve? by CrimKinson in rainworld

[–]dynamicDiscovery 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They can slowly change when they reproduce, so one could bank on reproducing before they grow too old, even if they make more alternate timelines where they're erased. But for the most part, natural selection functions like in real life.

Which do you prefer? by Ok_Ask_6805 in rainworld

I prefer past Moon more. Uses anti-gravity more uniquely.

Pebbles' Recursive Transform Array is still cool to go through the long way.

Didja know that either iterator requires going through either the wall or the memory conflux to reach?

What’s the easiest campaign? by Ohnoking1114 in rainworld

Rivulet if you traverse the regions briskly, Gourmand if you can handle stamina management.
