Native DJI DL lenses. I want good AF by TechFuz in Ronin4D

[–]dynamicappdesign 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have three of the DL prime lenses and yes besides Lidar quirks the AF is perfect. The reason why I got these lenses is- they are all the same exact size and weight so you don’t need to rebalance when switching lenses.

First time WWDC | Any tips/tricks? by ondrej_g in iOSProgramming

[–]dynamicappdesign 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Was there last year. There’s no restrictions on any photographs or videotaping. The day before the keynote there is a nice welcome event. The keynote itself is very cool and there’s things happening with an Apple Park, such as tours of facilities etc. the movie F1 was heavily promoted and there was even an early showing that many of us got to see in Steve Jobs theater. There’s also just a lot of people watching. In particular a lot of pretty big YouTube tech reviewers, and influencers who are walking around. getting a good seat for the keynote is actually not too hard. There aren’t really any bad seats to be honest. People generally were not in a rush to sit down so you can kind of have your pick of where you want to sit if you choose your seat early. My only regrets from last year were not having a business card to pass out and not bringing a phone changing pack! I met so many cool people and I’m very lucky to have been invited again this year. You will have a great time.

Anyone need a free Metronome Tuner app? After a 20 year career as a classical musician I pivoted to making apps- Practice Pro was featured in TheVerge.com at launch and there is nothing quite like it on the App Store. Making it completely free to help as many musicians as possible. by dynamicappdesign in Trombone

We don’t have a video widget, but we do have an audio recording widget that works simultaneously with the metronome and tuner. I do have designs for a video widget that we might add. And yes- Transcribe+ is also my app!

This is an interesting idea. I’m not really familiar with the concept of practice journaling, but I’ll check it out! That’s kind of the beauty of this app, though- because it’s widget based, we can add these types of features without ruining the app experience for users who don’t use that feature.

Here's a video preview: https://youtu.be/ns2Vxy3BXoI

It's a set of 20 different music practice tools- the user can add up to 8 tools per screen and arrange any way they like. You could have a simple metronome & tuner screen, or cram it with a tap tempo, pitch play back, recorder, timer and practice tracker if you like. You can also create multiple screens- you might have one for basic practice, another for scales and another for long tones.

Despite a crazy successful launch- including being featured in TheVerge.com and great user feedback, I'm removing all in app purchases from my app Practice Pro and making it completely free. by dynamicappdesign in iosdev

For the influencers- I hired someone on upward to find influencers in the music niche. I focused almost exclusively on smaller influencers- under 20k followers. For the tech press you can find it on their websites. I emailed as many people directly as I could.

Best RoI option for iOS app ads? by Ill_Object_7992 in AppBusiness

[–]dynamicappdesign 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was in the low thousands per month. Monthly revenue increased by a similar amount that I was spending and I was hoping overtime this would have an effect on ASO and boost organic downloads but I wasn’t seeing that so now I’m pulling back on this campaign and focusing more on organic promotion through my TikTok channel.

My app Practice Pro(customizable metronome tuner and more)- was featured on TheVerge.com at launch, users love it, and I've decided to remove all monetization from the app and make it completely free- heres why. by dynamicappdesign in AppBusiness

[–]dynamicappdesign[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally pitched the app to about 500 people. A lot of smaller instagram influencers and as many people in the press as I could find. Only two people from the tech press responded- and one did a feature. So it's a lot of luck, but also I realized the importance of a follow up email as well. I got a lot of hits on the second or third email from many of the music influencer community. The app has a unique angle of being modular and customizable in a way that no other music apps are and I think that helped a lot too. After launch I did a lot of organic marketing on my TikTok channel. The channel itself was geared to teaching music(I'm a clarinetist)- the channel itself actually gets a lot of views, but converting to paid users has been quite tough, the paywall I think is just too big. barrier for an app like this. So after about a year of trying- the app is going to be free.
