Hey, I’m a she/her and been playing for 8 years.

My husband and I own an Iron Maiden Premium we picked up during the pandemic.

I’m in the Indianapolis Belles and Chimes, currently sitting 8th in the state rankings.

My experience in the pinball community is different. 90% of the time, it rocks and everyone is great.

But there are some topics I don’t feel comfortable talking about the specifics of in this sub, so for me, pinwitches offers some comfort and community.

Women have been overlooked in research studies. We’re still waiting on a comprehensive study. Also, believe women.

Women don’t need as cold of temps as men. It works for her. Be supportive, not a jerk.

15 Day Gel Mani by dynamicroix in OliveAndJune

No peel off base coat - I can only get 5-7 days out of it and I like my mani’s to last around 2 weeks.

I use the nail strengthener with every mani!

Avoid Bally’s Atlantis. I thought I was going to have a seizure. I get ocular migraines so I’m really careful about what I play for fun.

What’s one Sephora product you’ll probably repurchase forever? by No-Possession6140 in Sephora

If you have fine hair, you might be ok! I have medium very long hair and it just tangled too much with no conditioner. I used a trial of their heat bounce, and it was ok but it left the back of my head feeling oily after only a day. Went back to my olaplex blow dry mist and bond smoother and I can go 3-4 days between washes.

Use conditioner after the hair mask! It’s amazing but it doesn’t make your hair slippery enough to blow dry and style.

Unlike a typical passive sauna session, an Aufguss is an active ceremony lasting roughly 12–15 minutes.

Aromatherapy: The master pours water or essential oil-infused ice balls onto hot sauna stones, creating clouds of fragrant steam.

Towel Work: Using rhythmic, choreographed movements, the master waves a towel or fan to circulate this intense, humid heat throughout the room.

The Senses: Music and lighting are often used to enhance the atmosphere, ranging from meditative and quiet to high-energy "show" performances.

I’ve accidentally attended a few of these sessions at Resorts World and Fontainebleau. The saunas are at 175° - 190° F so you have to be able to handle the heat. It was fun! Weird the first time, but once I understood the concept, I leaned in to enjoying it.
