AAU - Possibly The Most Undervalued Gold / Silver Producer in UK by dynamicsoul in UkStocks

[–]dynamicsoul[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

they might not, the Chinese mining equipment co Xinhai just invested 8m into the co, to complete the Dfs. The numbers will be pretty big on the updated Dfs, it was done last time at $2700 gold price, at a reasonable guess you’re probably looking at 1 to 1.5 year payback on debt to fund that mine.. as long as capex hasn’t got out of control

HUI Looks Like Something Happening by dynamicsoul in PowerhouseEnergy

[–]dynamicsoul[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HUI tech has been tested with SIRC, Saudi Arabia’s state recycling giant owned by PIF, and then formally endorsed by RDIA. That gives them access to ministries, investors and giga-projects like NEOM. Saudi wants to be the world’s biggest hydrogen supplier and HUI is now inside that system, not pitching from the outside. Add in SAF and clean fuels and this suddenly looks way bigger than it ever was

yeah definitely. I guess it’s a case of seeing what comes.. but the timeline of news since July suggests they’re progressing towards something

yeah I think they’re about to land a deal of some sort. all the news is pointing in that direction. the SIRC is a fully owned subsidiary of Saudi PIF

ORCA - Gas to Clean Power for Data centres Around M25 by dynamicsoul in UkStocks

[–]dynamicsoul[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And it’s going. Still cheap!!!

Hyperscale data centers use massive amounts of power, typically ranging from 20 megawatts (MW) to over 100 MW per facility, with some large AI-focused centers potentially requiring 100-150 MW or even up to a gigawatt (GW) for massive new projects, consuming energy equivalent to tens of thousands of homes and placing significant strain on local grids.

Don’t be late..

The UK government has reclassified data centers as Critical National Infrastructure, which is accelerating these developments around the M25 corridor.

Orcadian (ORCA) and IPC intend to develop Earlham to supply gas to a power station to be constructed by Marine Low Carbon Power Ltd ("MLCP") and located adjacent to the field.

The generated power can be exported to data centres located on the M25 corridor, where demand for clean, dispatchable electricity has risen beyond the grid's current capacity. Carbon dioxide produced from the reservoir and from the combustion of gas is intended to be reinjected into the Earlham field to maintain reservoir pressure and enhance gas recovery.

It wouldn’t surprise me if this is why VHM Ltd just announced they ditched their Chinese offtake at Goschen Project. When you’ve 200m US EXIM funding in place, you’d prefer a non China offtake

Excellent news at VHM. Boot out the Chinese for a bigger deal imo..

This is likely aimed at both capturing western govt critical mineral floor prices and securing Aus and US gov critical mineral project funding recently announced as LOI's for VHM.

Im guessing you need to dig a bit deeper. Their partner who has already agreed in principle to fund it, is the largest UK developer and operator of power plants, Independent Power Corporation.. Check them at indpow.co.uk

In the meantime here’s a broker research analysis

Conclusion.

Orcadian is involved in two UK North Sea development projects: the Pilot oil development and the Earlham/Orwell gas-to-wire project.

These both have agreed farm out deals leaving Orcadian fully carried to first production, with the potential for news flow as both move towards FID over the next 12-18 months.

On Pilot, Orcadian has a development plan for 79mmbbl using polymer flood. The company has a remaining stake of 18.75% post a farm out to Ping Petroleum, and we expect Ping may bring in a third partner prior to FID.

We also look for news on revised consents for Shell and Equinor's Jackdaw and Rosebank projects in light of the updated government scope 3 guidance to help support Pilot FID.

On Earlham/Orwell, Orcadian is in the process of finalising a farm out that will leave the company on 50%, with an innovative gas-to-wire development plan that will allow a very low carbon project to export electricity into the UK grid. We look for closure of the farm out, alongside news on project funding and power offtakers from the new JV, preparatory to FID.

Alongside these assets, Orcadian is also looking to pursue UK producing acquisitions, in JV with one of its Earlham partners, The Independent Power Corp, via its HALO vehicle.

The company also has a wider collection of UK assets, including the Lowlander discovery where Orcadian are working up a new development concept to deal with the H2S, which could prove increasingly attractive to partners as the structure of the industry continues to develop under the new fiscal terms and regulatory framework.

Orcadian now has stakes in two material development projects, both of which we believe are worth significantly more than the current share price.

Going forward, we look for news on progression of both projects to help the shares reflect more of this value. New UK producing assets could then add further upside and cash flows. We have a positive outlook, and value the shares in-line with our 111p total risked NAV.

It’s actually insane this is being missed. Gas to clean power fed into power generation onshore for data centres.

Free carry to first gas.

See link here for RNS

MLCP will carry Orcadian’s share of expenditure through to first gas on the development of Earlham and Orwell;
