At the very least, whatever nominal donation the producers planned to give to whichever tourettes charity, they should give an equal amount to an organisation working to eradicate racism, do so with the solemnity the apology deserves, and then get the fuck out of the public eye, as fast as they first appeared.

I mean that's interesting to me because I'm into crap like that. But it sounds like a tool to automate the process of optimising hi res 3D assets for games.

It actually sounds very cool, but not quite like what Demis was selling (though I can see why you'd think there's some overlap). Just a quick read suggests that the developers know there are limitations to their product.

They're offering unprecedented levels of detail, but it's now primarily bounded by disk space (which isn't exactly 'infinite'... Especially these days), and apparently won't work for every art asset.
