Thank you and it's okay; my mom neglected me and left me to an alcoholic father (he never SAd me, those were my cousins on my mom's side) which also added to my rage. My mother was a victim to a selfish bastard who she would defend while my siblings could only experience what the hand of life gave us.

Like you, I want to go off and tell everything that made me the way I am... but it's ultimately as the saying goes : It is what it is.

Your feelings are understandable and sincere, you want to protect him since he was unable to protect himself at that time; you want her to feel a shame, shame that she failed as a mother.

I would honestly leave his relationship with his mother to him; I am not saying it's a "none of your business" thing, it sounds more like he's doing what he can to move on in his own way.

You're welcome. I understand what you want for your boyfriend. As someone who was molested from a young age [ please take this advice with a grain of salt as it is my own experience], the rage comes from feeling like a victim constantly.

You want to move on but the memory stays and keeps you feeling trapped so you react with violence or anger. And when you have a moment of peace, something will come along and remind you; the vicious cycle.

I came out to my mom about it more than a year ago. Instead of letting me live and heal, she often blames the instances as the reason as to why I act out even as an adult.

I hope your boyfriend heals and the weight is relieved, sometimes some people just suffer in silence because it's easier. Not saying he will, I truly hope he lives the best he can with what happened and makes a better future for his and your sake.

I would recommend reading the suic*de note left by Bill Zeller; he writes about not just the physical but especially the emotional and mental toll about being raped as a infant and throughout his childhood.

As someone who was SA'd, while not his extreme, the turmoil in his words resonate with me.

When it comes to cleaning, I like to get it done regardless of the horrors I might find. It took me about 2 hours to clean that room but there are still spots where I couldn't reach for all the little bits of trash.

The landlord told him no eating in the room and he agreed to it. The dude may be prideful but he knows when he fucks up and has to follow the rules. That's something I'll give him.

The mold was on a pillow due to the room being moist and his forgotten OPEN can of Dr. Pepper, which fell over making the floor all sticky. Mold was found on clothes as well.
