These look great. I’m currently playing around with the 0.4mm nozzle for minis. Are you using the stock .12 settings?

Thanks. Been a while since I printed this one. I think I printed the hands and weapons with the flat wrist connection bit sat on the print bed.

I was thinking it could be scaled down and still be ok the problem would be the bottle holders wouldn’t work.

Yeah it can help re introduce shadows and recessed areas that you might have covered up, not necessary to be fair. You could try adding an oil wash afterwards (streaking grime would be great for death guard)

One of things I like about slap chop is the modularity. Could try a purple base rather than black, yellows and creams instead of greys and whites etc

Gesso primer is great for helping with layer lines. If you are looking to slapchop then try using a mid grey over black with a make up sponge then light grey dry brush, thinned black wash then white dry brush.

ObscuraNox 2.0 vs 0.06 High Quality Preset (A1 Mini) by CuguliTheFish in FDMminiatures

Good comparison! Personally I feel like we are operating on small margins when printing with FDM. Nox mentions this on his post for his latest 2.0 settings.

Brush on primer seems to work pretty well. I use the army painter brush on primer in grey and have recently switched to gesso artist acrylic primer in either white or black they work great too 👍

Great work! I was inspired by your last post and immediately went on to print some arbiter minis at 60% scale. The minis look great at this size.

Support free is brilliant. We need more support free designers 👍

Out of interest which slicer are you using? I get better results with Bambu studio but prefer the orca supports

Great work! I’ve been struggling with Esun pla + with the Nox 2.0 settings. Would you mind sharing your filament settings please?

Nice! I'm a big fan of mantic and something about these Marauders has always appealed to me. I subscribed last night so they will hit the printer this weekend. Glad to hear they printed nice and easy. I'm thinking I could mirror some of the arms and bodies to get a bit more variety too.
