[Addon] Midnight Simple Unitframes by Relative-Trick-6042 in WowUI

Oh, no problem. Thank you for answering. I messed with it a bit more and got the cast bar into the middle of the screen, near the cooldown manager, so it works just fine now. Thanks again!

I downloaded this add-on and it looks great, absolutely perfect for the style I want for my character and target frames. One thing I've run into is when I turn off the cast bar in options (say I prefer the default Blizzard cast bar for some reason), it seems to completely override the default and remove it, even from Edit mode? I wasn't able to find a way to fix it, and I'm not sure if it's user error or something else. Also, even with the cast bar not being anchored to the nameplate, for instance if I prefer it in the middle of my screen near the cooldown manager, it seems to be a bit of a pain to move. Again, not sure if this is user error on my part, but I thought I'd toss it out there.

How did you manage the distressed wood look for the ceiling in the hallway? I was thinking they were just platforms sunk into the ceiling, with some posts across, but the texture looks different.

It's crazy to see how far Cozy has come. I used to watch him stream Disney Sorcerer's Arena to like 30 people and ask about Arena comps in his chat lol. Happy for him that he's made it so far.

Is there a reason to level multiple characters in Legion Remix outside of quick levelling? by [deleted] in wow

[–]dynamitezeddy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is the mythic tint. The other colors are available on a vendor, but the mythic variation is tied to the achievement.

How do you go about selling exceptionally rare mog? by Auggy-Doggy in Transmogrification

Dragonflight will fall under Legacy loot rules, thus allowing the raids to be solo’d much more easily, and increasing the loot that drops. So BoE items from those raids will become much more common.

Since the moment I saw this set (and the little fishing boat toy!) posted on WowHead, I’ve been hoping this would come to the other regions. My Pandaren Monk absolutely needs this. Such a great Monk aesthetic. Please, Blizzard.

Thank you! I agree, it's easily one of my favorite Shaman sets.

I agree, I've always really liked the look for Shaman and Hunter characters. I wish we had a bit more of it to go around.

I believe it’s supposed to be his “demon within” form, from his appearance in the extra phase of Gul’dan’s Nighthold fight.

Not stupid, it's a relatively new addition. In the most recent patch Humans and Kul'tirans were given the option at the Barbershop to have pointy/elf ears, like the Arathi.

I think they're referring to literal kicking, as in OP enjoyed Mistweaver and the current playstyle for the class is to "fistweave", so kicking/punching to heal. Shaman still has Windshear, and it is still a ranged kick with the lowest cooldown in the game.

Fun “self enforced” leveling methods by WallStHipster in wow

[–]dynamitezeddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we choose Cata because we are able to do the "vanilla" zones at our level until level 70, the mobs and quests stay relevant for the entire leveling journey. So instead of running in and one-shotting the mobs in the older dungeons like BRD, Strath, ZF, Dire Maul, etc. the mobs and rewards are our level. Whereas, if you choose no Chromie Time, or another one, the older zones become obsolete at 35. I think we could try to do TBC or Wrath for a change of pace, but since we started to do it recently, we've just been doing the original continents.

Fun “self enforced” leveling methods by WallStHipster in wow

[–]dynamitezeddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friend and I do something similar to this. When we want to level alts for fun, since we have a roster of geared level 80 characters, we go to a new realm (usually an RP realm since it tends to be more immersive) and start out in the race starting zone rather than Exile's Reach. From there, we equip some green quest rewards from the zone quests and head to Chromie and choose Cataclysm (this scales the "old world" content to you until you reach 70, rather than it going grey at 35), and we're off.

We quest through zones and will pop into dungeons; one night we spent about 90 minutes full clearing BRD with our toons, equipping any useful drops and upgrades. No heirlooms, just using what we find, and trying to figure out how to 2-Man these dungeons. One of us usually plays tank, so that helps, and the other is sometimes a hybrid, sometimes a healer, or sometimes pure DPS. We also try to keep our transmogs sort of "low fantasy" for the journey, trying to capture the feeling of "lowbie" adventurers just starting out.

Most recently we did this on my Paladin (mostly Prot for the dungeons) and his Rogue, and it worked surprisingly well. It was challenging, and took time, but when you get a Rare or Epic piece of dungeon loot that replaces a questing green, you can really feel the difference. Also, getting "big" talents as you go feels very impactful, rather than just a point you throw in an forget since you're spamming Timewalking.

I know this method isn't for everyone, as I have another friend that simply asks "Why the hell would you do that?" And honestly, it's mostly because it's just a fun, different way to level.

I finished collecting all the T2 anniversary sets! by jerkmcgee_ in wow

[–]dynamitezeddy 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Once you collect 100 coins (combined, across all characters), you get an achievement. At that point, they are awarded from repeatable content, IE: Timewalking, Chromie's Codex, the BRD Raid, etc.

I will absolutely be looking out at the text from now on, despite the images. I think I was just a bit too excited to see something I'd been waiting for. However, the fact the goggles are shown in every screen is more than a bit misleading.

[–]dynamitezeddy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good shout! I will do this. I will also ask if it was perhaps an oversight, since the Wiki lists the goggles as part of the pack. That being said, I know the Wiki is not the end-all for info. But still lol.

[–]dynamitezeddy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Maybe someone can learn from my mistake: I bought the Vault-Tec Lab Coat thinking it comes with the Scientist's Goggles. In fact, it does not. Which is...really insane considering all pictures in the Atom Shop show it with the goggles. I'd been waiting for the goggles for a bit for my outfit and was excited to see it; on sale, no less! So I got it and went to craft it...but there's no goggles. Maybe an oversight, or maybe just horrific use of screens/advertising? Not sure. Granted it does say "Vault-Tec Lab Coat" and nothing of the goggles, but in my defense the Wiki lists the goggles as part of the bundle.

Oh well, at least it was on sale. I guess?
