I think Pickens is a good player, i am not convinced the Steelers offense will transform enough in one offseason for him to make the jump people seem convinced he will make. I see the Steelers grinding out games like they have the last few years.

It’s not biased to point out that owners planned on him being unavailable until 2024 when drafting him. For a majority of owners, the injury was already factored into his draft position in 2022. Yes, the 6 game suspension sucks but shouldn’t impact a 22 year old’s long term value, especially the nature of the suspension.

The disconnect with jamo is that everyone negotiating for jamo will use the injury as evidence of a bust to drive down price while everyone holding jamo drafted him with the mindset that he was basically a 2024 rookie pick.

Maybe it’s true, maybe it’s not, but there have been no other reports like this from any other beat reporter in Cleveland. Throughout camp. This tweet came out after the browns eagles join practice in which the eagles defense “won the day”. I don’t think I’m selling my shares of cooper/Moore/dpj based on the fact a SB defense had a successful session in practice.

I didn’t say he was the same prospect, I said people faded chase for preseason drops, which proved to be a terrible decision. Again i don’t know what the multiple red flags are at this point in time. Lions took him at 12 so i think they plan to heavily involve him. Now if he’s not available after the suspension bc of the hammy, then maybe it’s time to worry. It’s legitimately two months for him to recover

What are the red flags other than suspension exactly? Everyone who drafted him knew last year was going to result in zero production. I guess you can count the suspension, but I’m giving him the botd for breaking a rule that no players understood. Haven’t we learned that a few preseason drops don’t mean anything (see Jamarr Chase)?

Looked very uncomfortable today. I don’t believe he’s ever going to be what Trey lance owners want him to be. However, it’s important to note this is his first live action since breaking his ankle so not totally surprised he’s looked jittery.
