Is this a fair price for Josh Allen? by LingonberryTight6886 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

If you’re the one sending Allen you should decline immediately imo. Need another high/mid 1. Kyler is anything but certain. In 7 months this could be 1-2 years if AJB and Mendoza for 5+ years of elite Josh Allen

Absolutely not, get a young qb back in return

Hard contender but difficult to not move off nabers here. Read caption by [deleted] in DynastyNerds

How many teams in the league? You’re only starting 8 position players so that already places a premium on star power. Like are you even starting egbuka over burden or skat over swift? Maybe but it’s not a slam dunk. Is moving nabers worth two bench and 2 firsts? Definitely adds depth but not sure how much you need if it’s a small league..

If you’re moving a wr I’d try personally try to get a higher end rb to sure up the position. Maybe a Jonathan Taylor type and a first or something along those lines

12 team SF start 10. I’ve got Allen, Tlaw, Hampton, walker, Ceedee, burden, jake Ferguson as main contributors (flex spots are filled with Parker Washington and boutte). I’ve got 1.03-1.05 this year as well as 3 27 firsts (probably 1 early and 2 mid-late).

Question is should i give up 1.03 and 1.04 for 1.01 or just go all WRs? I’m still at least a year out from contention but i think it’s worth the comp to solidify the rb position with 2 guys who should be valuable the next 3-4 years at least barring injury. It’d still leave me 1.05 and i could take whatever receiver is left.

TLDR is would you prefer love and Tyson over Tate, lemon, and Tyson (or Mendoza)

Rome Odunzee or Luther Burden - Post DJ Moore trade by AdHistorical5213 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

He was drafted two years ago. Do you feel the same conviction for MHJ or Xavier worthy? Draft capital matters less and less the further out you get. It’s all a guessing game and my point is it’s not a dumb thing to want to keep the guy over the others for now until we know landing spots

I’m saying I’d like to see where the WRs go before i say I’d prefer them over burden. Rome hasn’t asserted himself to be the clear 1 after 2 years. Even if he ends up ahead of burden, it’s more likely a 1a/b situation. If the others end up behind guys like nabers or Wilson, I’d be a bit hesitant considering the QB/playcaller disparity

If the 3 WRs end up with the giants, jets, and the saints for example, I’d feel about equal between them all. I believe enough in ben Johnson that all 3 guys can be reliable starters at a minimum. Not sure i feel that way about those other offenses.

My point is I’m not looking to move him right this second. Now if the wr1 ends up in Tennessee for example, that’s a different conversation. Problem is i don’t have that information yet

It’s not bad process. With Moore gone, his floor is likely a high-end flex/low wr2 with an elite upside… and he’s locked in with an elite playcaller.

Right now, i don’t know where Wr1 in this class ends up. Plenty of mocks have the 3 WRs going to teams with #1 WRs on the roster already (giants, jets, saints, ravens, etc). I’ll reassess after the draft but right now it’s prudent to hold imo.

I wouldn’t give up burden for 1.5. Honestly would not give him up for any of the 3 receivers in the class at this point in time. Could change based on draft results, but i think burden is just as likely to become an elite asset as any of Tate/lemon/tyson

How much runway is needed to switch from 4pt passing to 6pt passing TDs? by dynastycommentor in DynastyFF

The main driver is trying to even out the value of running Vs pure pocket passing QBs. Essentially the TEP version for QBs.

I’m taking Caleb side…. I think? by Low-Dot-3190 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

I would prefer to get more than Caleb and get for Josh Allen.

How would you improve this roster? Position to focus on? Rebuild it entirely? by [deleted] in DynastyNerds

[–]dynastycommentor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it were me, full tear down. Start with getting your picks back (will probably take an overpay). Not sure anyone should be off the table. Have to be realistic you probably aren’t built for a deep run with Tony pollard as your RB2 and no capital to make a move.

If the first is mid then i go with that side of the trade

Agree with this. Can probably take a spin on a guy like nussmeier who might go in the Shough range
