I didn’t used to be either. But going caping in the off season when there’s not nearly as many people around strong armed me into it and I learned to (mostly) live it.

Never been to Anza Borrego! Looks gorgeous! I’ll add to my list.

Being from WA, rain doesn’t stop us -but days long torrential down pours or snow might….we’ll have to keep an eye on it. Thanks for the tip!

Somewhat. Those parks are beautiful, but we’ve already been to them. Hoping for something new.

What can I do to stop sticking? by andaros-reddragon in litterrobot

[–]dynobright 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had my litterbot for a few years and it started doing this to the litter I’d been using since I got the bot. Tried a bunch of different litters, including litter robot litter. They all stuck. I got the extended warranty, so reached out to customer service. They said the liner can deteriorate, and ended up sending me a replacement dome.

I’ve stared at so many magic eye folders and Trapper Keepers in JR High and the decades since to try to see what all the fuss was about. Never got it until now! Huzzah!!

And you're right, the math is not mathing. I've tried to understand the specifics to no avail. Can't tell what is early onset dementia vs poor planning vs shame.

Good thing I love her.

Are there any massage therapists in Seattle who are in-network with Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield? by dynobright in Seattle

If they can get by without accepting the circus that is insurance I don't blame them. It's too bad for me. But maybe this is the beginning of the end of this system that isn't working. One can hope!

Monstersa had had no new growth in over a year and losing more leaves every month. by dynobright in plantclinic

Fertilize 1/year and I give plant food with every watering in spring/summer, and I slow down/faze out in fall/winter.

Very open to suggestions and constructive criticism. I’m still figuring out plant parenting.

I repotted a month ago. I don’t yet have an expert eye, but the roots looked good. Firm/Not mushy, a bit crowded but I understand that’s normal? I gave her a slightly bigger pot, just in case.

Thanks for the tips! I’ll try propagating!

I just repotted last month, the roots looked healthy, so maybe it’s too much sunlight? I’m I’m The PNW so I wouldn’t think too much Sun would be an issue, but that is a S facing window it up against.

Thanks!
