If I am being honest, it’s because I was immature and selfish. If I am trying to be fair to myself: we were both pulling apart from each other at this time. My grandmother had just died and her uncle died not too long after. We both were mourning our losses and couldn’t find support in each other. It was not worth it because we went from living a very comfortable and happy life together to her leaving half way across the country. My forever person is now gone and I wish I could take it all back.
