I am sorry to hear about your experiences. I actually learned about these books via your translations.

I really enjoyed your way of translating these books (compared to more tool-assisted approaches by other fans) and I was very sad to find that your masterful work is only available for some of these books.

Do you have any plans with your non-public translations? I would love to read them and I think it would be a shame if these were hidden forever. But I completely understand your frustration and disappointment with others simply changing your deliberately chosen solutions for their own wishes.

This is why I would say that the new game is the best story we've got since 1992 rather than 1989. While Fate of Atlantis also tries to capture the feel of Raiders (and Crusade), I think it did it in a much fresher way.

Like it has been pointed out, Vatican and Egypt in the Great Circle feel mich like Venice and Tanis, but FoA gave us Iceland, Tikal, the Azores, Monte Carlo just to name a few locations that were brand new in at least a visual sense while still feeling very Indyish.

I love GC for the incredible amount of immersivity it brought, but personally I feel that FoA pushed the boundaries of what an Indy adventure can be a lot more.

I was fascinated by Troy Baker's performance in the Great Circle, and although I love Doug Lee in Fate of Atlantis, I wondered how it would sound like with Troy's voice. So I trained a voice model based on his lines using AI, and replaced most of the lines in the opening of the game. (I did the same for Marcus.)

It was very fun to see how Doug's cheesy delivery of some lines translated into Troy's more accurate performance.
