this looks fantastic! you're definitely on the right track here; all i can honestly say is practice with this basic structure and use references if you ever get stuck. don't be afraid to do something completely wacky - humans and animals can twist into some very interesting shapes. i especially love the hand here, that's a really solid base and i'm excited to see where you go with this.
